Deja vu

Deja vu

Deja vu. Do you remember where you were when you knew?

It's the same place we've been to before. Approximately 14 years ago, we all experienced a life-changing event. The familiar signs are back. This time, are we ready?

In 2001, when the dot-com bubble burst, many companies ended up bankrupt and millions of people lost their jobs. We saw a shift in commercial banking, increased debt, cash flow issues, and less financial control

In 2007, our world was flipped upside down by the global financial crisis and recession. While most of us were able to weather the storm, some weren't so lucky—and the effects of that downturn are still being felt today.

There have been as many as 48 recessions in the United States dating back to the Articles of Confederation. ?

The world has changed in ways we never could have predicted, but it has also remained the same in many ways. We have seen the same problems arise again and again and again—and they all seem to be financially related: poverty and hunger, war and violence, environmental destruction and climate change—and yet our response has been to ignore them or worse: to actively destroy our lives even more by treating the events as if they are normal. We just print more money, get into more consumer debt, save very little if at all, and live outside of our means.

But what if we could change that? What if we could get ahead of these problems with a new approach? What if we could find ways to prevent them from happening in the first place? What if we could stop making things worse? What if we could start making things better?

Are we ready for change? Are we ready to do the work? Are we ready to step up? Are we ready to do what needs to be done? Or will we continue on our current path of destruction until there is nothing left at all? There are clear solutions to the repeated madness, but will we make the necessary changes? As I read the history of recessions, it reminded me of a deer in headlights waiting to be hit again.

The current economic downturn is not a surprise to anyone. It's been coming for years now, and it's not just our fault—it's a result of decades of negligent decisions by our leaders. As a nation, we have no choice but to be ready. We cannot afford to allow ourselves to be taken by surprise, once again. And while each one has been different in its own way, they all share one similarity: they were all caused by the same thing: greed and corruption.

We've been here before. We know how this story ends. And we can't let it happen again.

This time around, we need to go into this with our eyes open and our hearts open, too. We need to remember that this is not just about politics or policy—it's about real people and real lives. And if you forget that in all of your excitement (or panic) over what's happening right now, then you will be doing the country, your family, and yourself a disservice at this critical moment in time.

Are you ready?

We're determined to do things differently this time. We can't do the same things we've always done and expect a different result. In order to ensure our finances are smart and forward-looking, we must take the necessary steps. We need to look at what worked and what hasn't worked in the past. We need to protect what we have now and make sure we survive this next storm intact. It's time to prepare!

In the event of a hurricane or tornado, we would all rush out to prepare. In addition to buying all the necessary supplies, we would batten down the doors and windows, fill sandbags, and stock shelves with non-perishables. We would do everything we needed to survive in reasonably good shape. Well, we are about to have a financial storm, so?ARE YOU READY?

There are a few financial tools that have withstood the storms of our history.?

  • ?Private Equity Banking or Infinite Banking
  • ?412e3 Defined Benefit Plans
  • ?Annuities

Just to name three that will change financial outlooks. These tools come without risk and have outstanding benefits. If you'd like to avoid the impending storm, learn about the tools that can take you out of the eye of the storm and put you on the track as a survivor.?
