DEI Policies & Practices: Skyhorse Publishing’s Author RFK, Jr. & History of American Socialites & Debutantes

RFK. Jr. 2024 Presidential Bid, David Stockman Reaganomics, Kerry Kennedy Klan,
One of Skyhorse’s author is RFK, Jr. whose books include A Letter to Liberals: Censorship and COVID: An Attack on Science and American Ideals (2022), American Values: Lessons I Learned from my Family (2023), America’s Path Back to Moral Leadership (2024), The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health (2021), Trump’s War on Capitalism (2024) by David Stockman with a forward by RFK, Jr. Furthermore, they have published 35 books about the assassination of JFK, and was reported to invest $1M on acquisition, printing and marketing for the publication of 8 new books on the subject in 2013, as well as $300k and $400k on reprints of 17 others. Skyhorse authors on the assassination include Richard Belzer,[41][43]?Gaeton Fonzi,[41]?Jim Garrison[43]?Mark Lane,[43]?Peter Dale Scott,[43]?Roger Stone,[41]?Jesse Ventura,[41]?and?Harold Weisberg.[41]
Hundreds of authors and ‘investigative reporters’ have written books about JFK and RFK’s assassinations, the sex scandals and other scandals of the Kennedy family for the past 4 generations, along with all the other Washington and NYC ‘power elite’. However, NO ONE, least of all the Kennedy ‘ladies’ want the skeletons in their closets to be exposed. The over-inflated ego, castrated men, do not want to admit that they are manipulated by the control freak, hysterical and entitled women in their entourages. And, the women are determined to maintain their control over men with their gaslighting tactics. ??
I have been a vocal supporter of Bobby Kennedy’s presidential bid since it began in April 2023, and have been in contact with Lyons through LinkedIn since this summer. The contents of my book would substantially assist Bobby’s campaign in a variety of ways. So, it begs the question why Skyhorse and RFK, Jr.’s campaign staffers have marginalized me from their ‘Conversation’—particularly given how vocal they are about of Freedom of Speech issues. Lyons is even aware that I was illegally fired this past summer in reprisal for my support of Bobby’s bid, and have pending lawsuits against DC employers for labor rights violations and political persecution, but cannot find legal assistance because I am a white, American socialite who has been ‘cancelled’ by ‘polite society’. He is also aware that I applied for several jobs with RFK, Jr.’s campaign and AV 2024 that would assist in the internal problems the campaign has been having since it began. Unfortunately, Lyons and RFK, Jr. do not believe that the ‘little people’ have the same Rights as the ‘experts’ who have been creating all the problems. What the nouveau-riche elitists, of the alt-Left and alt-Right, fail to understand is that the faster one rises is also the faster one can Fall.
American Economy, David Stockman ‘trickle down’ Reaganomics & UN SDG ‘Expert’ Jeffrey Sachs
As I pointed out in my blog, “Conflicting Messages from RFK, Jr.’s Campaign: UN SDGs vs. WHO Power Grab during COVID-19,” (written for the now archived Kennedy Coalition website) and messages sent to David Stockman in past years. The elitism, excessive spending and over-indebtedness of Nancy ‘Pants’ Reagan, and ‘Just Say No to Drugs’ while she was popping pills, and her daughter Patti was ‘getting high on pot’ has been the motor of the socio-economic problems of the country for generations. David Stockman was the ‘architect’ of the Golden Age Reaganomics as a 30-year-old kid in the Reagan Administration. The problem of Stockman’s ‘trickle down’ wealth is NOT in the theory, but instead because the ‘purse strings’ of investment and spending is concentrated in the hands of psychopaths, narcissists, con-artists and criminal elements, amongst the Republicans and Democrats alike. The ONLY difference between western capitalism and eastern communism is that the first concentrates wealth and allocation of resources into private sectors and the second into public sectors. However, since both are controlled by greedy and power-hungry individuals the two systems are no different in practice.
The lifestyle of the ‘rich and famous’ and ‘Keeping up with the Windsor’s’ which American ruling-elite have been embracing and promoting since the 1880s Gilded Age—accompanied by unbridled Managerialism—has been the motor behind the boom-and-bust economies, with bubbles getting bigger and badder with each cycle. The Kennedys, Clintons, and Obamas has been just as responsible for promoting elitism, overspending on luxury goods and hedonistic pursuits, and over indebtedness as the Reagans, Bushes, Trumps, Guests, Vanderbilts, Mellons, etc. ??
Kerry Kennedy Klan, Amaryllis Fox Kennedy & Algorithms of Terrorist Cell Networks in East &West
While the Kerry Kennedy Klan is refusing to examine facts and evidence surrounding vaccine studies, RFK, Jr.’s campaign is guilty of the same with me in refusing to examine the FACTS and EVIDENCE surrounding the problems in the courts, American government and American society. What is ‘amusing’ in the situation is that the same methodology and algorithms of networks that Amaryllis Fox developed in examining ‘conflict and terrorism’ in Islamic communities while at Georgetown, are the same I have used in identifying the ‘terrorist cells’ amongst the many factions in DC. My analysis has only replaced the ‘hookah bars’ with restaurants, bars, night clubs, coffee shops, women’s powder rooms, and entertainment centers; ‘madrassas’ with NGOs, think tanks, non-profits, colleges, ‘churches’, country clubs, and shopping malls; and income disparity of wealth and allocation of resources between the rich and poor in the DC Beltway area.
The ideologies of the various factions are identified in Biden’s 2021 report on Domestic Violent Extremists (DVEs). However, instead of a job with the CIA, or an investigation by them into all the terrorist cells in DC, I have been marginalized and persecuted for exposing these networks which reach into the highest level of Washington’s ruling-elite (Americans and foreigners alike). In developing her algorithms on terrorist networks, Amaryllis was just applying what she learned from her social-climbing, actress mother, Lalage Damerell. NYC socialite, Cornelia Guest explains how socialites are ‘groomed’ from birth to gather intel about networks, and how to ‘read’ and manipulate them in her book, The Debutante’s Guide to Life. And, Amaryllis just applied the fundamentals about networks and networking amongst the ‘upper crust’ that she learned from her mother to jihadists and terrorist cells in Muslim countries.
Furthermore, Amaryllis travelled the world for 8 years recruiting ‘assets’ for the CIA, while posing as an art dealer. I have spent over 30 years travelling the world working to ‘recruit’ moms, homemakers, and expats in promoting responsible, sustainable, and inclusive globalization. However, since I am going to take away the shopping malls, over-priced restaurants, and parasitic lifestyles of the ‘upper crust’, I have not been very successful with the power elite. Additionally, the import-export art dealing section of my Global Expats project is not a ‘front’ for nefarious activity of warmongering industrialists and governments. Instead, it is dedicated to promoting democratic principles, free-trade, and market-based Adam Smith capitalism.
Additionally, Amaryllis’s Netflix documentary, The Business of Drugs, is just another documentary amongst thousands about the problems created by Americans' insatiable appetite for drugs. Not only do these perpetual problems generate lots of income and jobs for filmmakers, but also drug dealers, governments, and military forces. I lived in Colombia from 1997 to 2003, and my sister has lived there for over 30 years. I could tell Amaryllis more about the problems she exposes in her documentary in a 1?hour interview than the months while she was pregnant, and the thousands of dollars it took her to ‘investigate’ the issues which have already been exposed thousands of times. She risked the life of her unborn children to ‘beat a dead horse’ and advance her career, rather than ‘raise awareness’. Amaryllis is 43 years old and with her 3rd marriage, she snagged herself a ‘Kennedy’ husband along with a job as campaign manager of a presidential candidate.
One of RFK’s most trusted advisor during his political career in the 1960s was Ethel Kennedy, while the entire Kennedy family mobilized to assure JFK win his 1961 Presidential bid. Unfortunately, since the Kennedys have become part of Washington’s ‘establishment’, RFK, Jr. is a threat to them and their power. And, he has been ‘cancelled’ and bullied, just like they did with his Kerry’s ex-husband, NY Governor Andrew Cuomo in political power plays.
Ethel Kennedy was not the ‘tough love’ mother that Bobby wishes to believe. She was an abusive and neglectful mother, whose sons had behavioral and substance abuse problems, and daughters became as opportunistic, abusive, and narcissistic as their mother. Her sisters-in-law, Eunice, Pat, and Jean, and many of their daughters have followed the same path as their mothers. Bobby is in a difficult position, and he has my sympathy, because I have been put in the same position with my ‘family and friends’ as he is at present. It has even cost me my relationship with my sons, which is the most precious thing in the world to me. Bobby needs to decide where his loyalties lie. To the fa?ade of a ‘perfect’ family, and ‘picture perfect’ American Dream? Or, to facing the harsh REALITIES of the problems within his own family as much as his country, and where it has led the rest of the world in the past 80 years?
Speaking Truth to Power: Treason or Patriotism?
My family contends that I am ‘treasonous’ for speaking out about the violence and abuse within my own family as much as my efforts to combat the corruption which permeates the country. However, as I keep pointing out it is THEY who are ‘treasonous’ to our family and country by colluding in the subversion of the principles and values that the American Founding Fathers and English Colonists suffered great hardship and bloodshed to create. The Wilcox family tree, and its influence in English and American history dates back to the reign of Elizabeth I, starting with clergyman Thomas Wilcox, co-author of “Admonitions to Parliament” (aka ‘Puritan Manifesto’), 1571. While I have brought HONOR to the Wilcox family and my country, as did my father and grandfather before me, THEY have brought DISHONOR to both!
Examples abound of East Coast socialites who have been covering-up the ‘indiscretions’ of their husbands, while producing another generation of entitled, frat house, zipper problems sons, who have no respect for women, and view them as just another conquest and ‘commodity’ in life. Since no respectable woman would have anything to do with these over-inflated men, girls are brought up to be just as superficial, manipulative, and ego centric as their mothers and grandmothers. However, since old-guard ruling-elite have been unable to produce enough narcissistic, bimbos to serve as wives and mistresses to the growing pool of over-inflated ego ‘frat boys’, immigration policies have flooded the market with social-climbing, bimbo immigrant women to fill these positions. The only reason ‘trophy wives’ and ‘socialites’ have been given a bad rep is because the XYZ Gens who have been filling their shoes for several generations are social climbing bimbos and narcissists whose aspirations in life are shopping, gossiping, and bullying others. ?
Ivana and Melania Trump (and their offspring) are two such examples, as is Greek immigrant Arianna Huffington. Her Huffington Post IT platform (with Anne Sinclair joining her in 2013) has been a Woke propaganda outlet since its creation, as has her Thrive Global platform. However, apart from models and ‘call girls’ looking for meal ticket husbands, other groups of social climbing immigrants have used the same tactics in infiltrating American society. One such example is the religious cult, Moonies, whose 1985 group wedding at Madison Square Garden with young Korean women, was modelled after debutante parties. Another liberal immigration policy which greatly influenced American mainstream society were the grants, scholarships and loans for foreign students started under the Kennedy Administration. The head of education for JFK’s Alliance for Progress, was Colombian economist and diplomat, Gabriel Betancourt, father of ‘Jean d’Arc’ of Colombia, Ingrid Betancourt. Ingrid and her sister are yet more examples of social climbing immigrant women, who have ‘slept with’ powerful men to advance their careers and agendas, and become part of the problem. The Fulbright Scholarship administered by the State Department, and promoted by the Senator’s widow, Harriet Fulbright (alumnae of Foxcroft School) is another case in point. ???
History of the NYC Socialites in the 20th Century: Riches to Rags & Replacement with Actresses & Social Media Influencers
When one examines the hypocrisy of the treatment of NYC Mayflower Madam, Sydney Biddle Barrows, in the 1980s with the treatment of Ghislaine Maxwell, the extent to which societal norms have completely reversed themselves in the past 40 years is evident. The Biddle family are descended from Quaker English immigrants, who emigrated to New England in 1681 seeking religious freedom. Barrows started an escort service in NYC in 1979, whose clientele included industrialists, high-power businessmen, lawyers, foreign diplomats, and Middle Eastern sheiks. It was shut down after she was arrested in 1984. However, her ‘punishment’ was limited to a fine of $5k, and publication of her best-selling autobiography,?Mayflower Madam: The Secret Life of Sydney Biddle Barrow?(1986), which was made into a movie in 1987 starring Candice Bergen. Since the 1990s she has run a consulting business which focuses on elitist ‘customer service and experience’, and in 2008 published?Uncensored Sales Strategies: A Radical New Approach to Selling Your Customers What They Really Want—No Matter What Business You’re In.
As seen in the case of the ‘Mayflower Madam’, she was rewarded for her illegal activity—instead of sent to prison for 20 years like Ghislaine Maxwell. As Cornelia explains in her book, The Debutante’s Guide to Life (1986) a socialite is groomed from birth to ‘know who is who, and what everyone is doing’. From a young age they are taught the social graces, and the power of networking and diplomacy. They are ‘groomed’ to be the ‘invisible hand’ in society, by setting the morals, norms, and manners which others emulate and follow. As explained on Wikipedia, the profile and role of a ‘socialite’ in the US in the 21st century dramatically changed from its function in previous centuries, and I quote, ?
The concept of socialites dates to the 18th and 19th century. Most of the earliest socialites were wives or mistresses of royalty or nobility, but being a socialite was more a duty and a means of survival than a form of pleasure. Bashful queens were often forced to play gracious and wealthy hostess to people who despised them. Mistresses had to pay for their social reputation and had to use their social skills to obtain favor in the court and retain the interest of their lovers.[9]

With the increase of wealth [and consumer spending] in the US in the 19th century, being a socialite developed into a role that brought power and influence.[9]
21st century
In the 21st century, the term "socialite" is still attached to being wealthy and socially recognized. The lines between being a socialite and?celebrity?with an exuberant partying lifestyle have since become blurred due to the influence of both?popular culture?and the?media, particularly when the status of being a celebrity is largely due to that lifestyle. Celebrity?Paris Hilton?is an example of a 21st-century socialite due to her ability to attract media attention and fame based only on her connections and associations. Hilton is the great-granddaughter of?Conrad Hilton, the founder of?Hilton Hotels & Resorts, and heiress to the Hilton Hotel fortune. Due to her outrageous lifestyle, Hilton was hailed by the media as "New York's leading? It Girl" in 2001.[10]
Gossip Girl, an American television series airing between September 2007 and December 2012, focuses on the lives of New York City socialites who live on?Manhattan's?Upper East Side. The show is a strong influence on how socialites are regarded in the 21st century because of the presence of scandal, wealth, and fashion in each episode. Pop culture gives the impression that by simply being wealthy and fashionable, an individual has the opportunity to become famous. Consequently, it is an individual's ability to climb the social ladder due to his or her wealth and recognition that makes them a socialite.
According to?The New York Times, socialites spend between $98,000 and $455,000 per year (young and old, respectively) to maintain their roles as successful socialites.[11]?Just the evening wardrobe of an individual regularly attending society functions can cost $100,000 annually.[12]?Examples of modern-day American socialites include: The?Kardashian-Jenner family,?Jill Kelley,?Tinsley Mortimer,?EJ Johnson,?Olivia Palermo,?Lauren Santo Domingo,?Paris Hilton,?Derek Blasberg, and?Jean Shafiroff.
The ‘Big Apple’s’ influence on American society and its transformation of the Puritan ‘American Dream’ of Hard Work and Ethics, to one of greed, decadence and elitism began during the 1880s ‘Gilded Age’ under the influence of Robber Baron millionaires; with Caroline Schermerhorn Astor the Grande Dame of NY high society. However, the Astors were ‘arrivistes’ among old guard ruling elite, who were descendants of the Founding Fathers and Colonial Revolutionaries. And, their vulgar ostentation and opulence was frown up by the ‘old-guard’ ’Knickerbockers’, just as it was frowned upon in DC by the ‘Cave dwellers’. ??
During the 1800s New York’s population rose from 600k to 3.43M, and began its dominance of American’s economy and polite society as a national and international trading center. Another socialite which helped shape NYC’s ‘polite society’ a few decades later was Emily Post whose marriage to a prominent Wall Street banker ended in divorce after his scandalous affair with a chorus girl. Even though she and her husband were not rich enough to be part of American ‘high society’, like her distant cousin Marjorie Merriweather Post, Emily Post’s book, Etiquette in Society, in Business, in Politics, and at Home?(1922), and radio broadcasts and magazine columns on ‘good taste’ were influential in ‘gentrifying’ American lower classes. As Arthur M. Schlesinger, explained in his book, Learning How to Behave: A Historical Study of American Etiquette Books (1946), etiquette books of the time were part of “the?leveling-up?process of democracy,” in an attempt to resolve the conflict between the democratic ideal and the reality of class. As Louisiana historian, Nancy Isenberg, explains in her book, “White Trash: The 400-Year Untold History of Class in America,” that the race wars are not about ‘Race’ but about ‘Class’ which everyone is ‘interpreting’ to mean the accumulation of material wealth, instead of standards of behavior.
The ‘Western Expansion’ of the US, which expanded the Republic from its original 13 states, into a Continent of 50 states and a ‘Melting Pot’ of immigrants seeking the ‘good life’, has completely degraded the principles and values upon which the country was founded, and made it ‘Great’. As explained in JetSet Times 2021 article, “The Fascinating History Of NYC: From 1900 – 1960” by Daniella Fisherman, NYC went through dramatic socio-economic changes at the turn of the 20th century, as did Washington, DC. The transformations of American society caused by standards set by NYC, DC, and Hollywood ruling-elite culminated in the 1960s. Instead of actresses stealing husbands of Queens, Princesses, and Socialites, in order to social climb and live a life of leisure, as was the case for centuries. The Queens, Princesses, and Socialites of today aspire to become Hollywood actresses or famous writers in order to remain ‘relevant’ and ‘popular’ in American culture and society!
NYC went through a dramatic social and economic change in the 1960s and 70s under the ‘Invisible Hand’ of Socialites Gloria Vanderbilt, Eleanor Lambert, Brooke Astor, C. Z. Guest, Jackie ‘O’, ‘Babe’ Paley, Gloria Guinness, etc., who welcomed arriviste, bohemian groupies with open arms. These women integrated social-climbing artists, writers, and actors, such as Truman Capote, Andy Warhol, Frank Sinatra, William F. Buckley, Woody Allen, Mia Farrow, Candice Bergen, Lauren Bacall, Lee Radziwill, Slim Keith into NYC ‘high society’. Truman Capote’s popularity amongst NYC (and DC) ‘high society’, was reflected in the massive attendance of celebrities at his ‘Black and White Ball’ in 1966. He threw the party in honor of Katherine Graham, who had replaced her husband as publisher of the Washington Post, after he committed suicide in 1963. Apart from NYC socialites, Hollywood celebrities, journalists, writers, artists, and musicians, the guest list included Lynda Bird Johnson, Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson, the Fords, and the Kennedys. Furthermore, the event was covered live by CBS News from the coat room of the ballroom, with Capote remarking as he left with Graham on his arm, “It was just what it set out to be… I just wanted to give a party for my friends.” (A 1960s “party of the century” at the Plaza?Hotel). Capote’s arriviste and vulgar ‘Black and White Ball’ just replaced the debutante balls of the Robber Barons and their scallywag groupies.
A few decades before it would have been ‘unheard’ to publicly broadcast a high society Ball to the Public as it would be considered vulgar and undignified to invite the ‘commoners’ into their exclusive ‘private’ events. However, Queen Elizabeth’s decision to televise her Coronation in 1953, had greatly changed the standards and norms of the time. Winston Churchill and Parliament had been against the idea at the time as it was unfitting and transformed the ceremony into a theatrical performance. Much of the harassment of ‘royals’ and ‘celebrities’ by paparazzi’s was created by their increasing use of radio and TV to ‘communicate’ with their fan bases. In 1958, the Queen suspended the Queen Charlotte’s Ball from being held in Buckingham Palace after Prince Philip referred to it as “bloody daft”, while Princess Margaret claimed that “every tart in London is getting in,” with candidates bribing former debutantes to sponsor them as participants. Ghislaine Maxwell’s father, Czech born, British media mogul, Robert Maxwell, would never have been able to build his ‘House of Cards’ if the Royal family had been more Diligent in their Rule of Britain, it government, and the Integrity and Morality of its countries commerce and regulatory agencies—as is their JOB! ??
By 1976, due to dropping participation rates, the Ball ‘folded’ until its revival in 2013 with a focus on teaching business skills, networking, etiquette, and fundraising for charities, instead of finding ‘meal tickets’ husbands as in the past. In the 1960s and 70s debutante balls became unpopular due to the Women libbers ‘Sexual Revolution’, as debutante Caroline Dunn explains in her 2017 Stanford Daily article, A brief history of the debutante,
Now, if you’re wondering at this point, what is all this clapping and congratulations for? — then I’m right there with you. Because yes, the debutante ball was incredibly fun, and yes, it’s for a great cause (all the money is donated to New York Infirmary-Beekman Downtown Hospital), but seriously? Why exactly are 30 girls walking across a stage at the Waldorf in wedding dresses?
Well, tradition. Back before this age of casual hookups, people used to actually date … and if you go way, way back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, even dating was considered scandalous (unchaperoned with a boy?! The horror!). Instead, young girls of a certain status would be “courted” by eligible young bachelors, with the intention of finding a suitable husband within a season or two. However, no well-to-do girl was eligible for marriage until she was presented to society. Traditionally, if planning to attend parties in multiple cities (say, London, Paris and New York) then the girl would have to be presented at all of these locales. Traveling abroad was especially tempting, because every eligible American girl’s dream was to snare a title (see “The American Heiress,” “Downton Abbey” and Winston Churchill’s mother). New York City soon became the center of the deb world (along with the famous Paris Crillon Ball and a few other international versions). The Infirmary Ball is one of the oldest, as you can see from this photo of debutantes dancing the night away in New York City in 1949.
In the late 1960s, with the rise of the women’s liberation movement and a general dislike for tradition, debutante balls became distinctly “uncool.” Girls expressed no interest in parading in wedding gowns across a stage at a time when rock ‘n roll and free love were much more trendy. That all changed again in the 1980s, when economic improvements and a muting of the liberalism of the previous decade led to debutante balls becoming popular again. Now, there are other balls on the scene, most notably the International Debutante Ball, which has gained fame in recent years for allowing press to attend.
Truman Capote: His Rise and Fall Amongst His NYC ‘Swans’ & Cancel Culture of ‘Polite Society’
Unfortunately, for Capote his popularity was short lived. After he published an article, in Esquire Magazine in 1975, “La C?te Basque 1965,” he was ‘cancelled’ and became a persona non grata, amongst his former ‘Swans’. The article was a chapter of his unfinished book, Answered Prayers, and exposed the scandals behind the glitz and glamour of NYC ‘society ladies’. Capote had broken THE ‘Golden Rule’ of the power elite. Amongst themselves they can gossip about and expose ALL of the scandalous and salacious details of their ‘family and friends’. However, one does NOT expose this type of behavior to the ‘Masses’—not only for the embarrassment and publicly shaming it would cause for those involved. But, above all it would give reason for the lower classes to rise up and depose the upper class who they ‘love’ and ‘hate’ at the same time. They ‘love’ them because they want to ‘be’ and live like them surrounded by material wealth. Yet, they ‘hate’ them due to the poverty they create for the lower classes and jealousies instilled. It is a vicious cycle of the have nots, deposing the haves, who then become the have nots who depose the haves, with unending bloodshed the consequence. ??
NYC ‘high society’ again experienced a transformation in the 1980s and 90s under the tutelage of Nancy ‘Pants’ Reagan’s and her new ‘good friends’ in NYC C. Z. Guest. C. Z.’s daughter, Cornelia, revived the popularity of the debutante ball, in the 1980s as ‘Deb of the Decade’ and first ‘celebutante’. At the time she claimed her ‘queenship’ of the American Republic as the ‘closest thing the country has to royalty whereas her family’s fortune made in the 1700s by British industrialists and iron and steel industries. As explained in the 2023 article by L’Officiel, “A History of New York's High Society,”
…High society in the '80s and '90s began to shift gears. Out with the old and in with the new, the concept of money as a moral crusade became representative of the new generation of Manhattan's wealthiest families. Leaning towards a flamboyant approach of wealth flaunting, the art of subtlety was a relatively outdated practice. Donald and Ivana Trump became New York society's biggest names, literally and figuratively, with kitsch gold signs of the Trump name plastered all over the city in an extravagant display of wealth. And what is society without scandal? The end of Trump's 15-year marriage spawned by an affair to remember and a now-famous line that reads "Don't get mad, get everything" that rocked Manhattan's social scene at its core.
The early 2000s birthed a new dawn for New York society and onlookers alike. Manhattanites were all the rage across tabloid magazines nationwide. Active members of high society transitioned from tycoons and their wives to their heirs and heiresses, utilizing their trust in the most lavish ways possible, from lunch dates at Per Se to summers in the South of France. The world became more interested in the posh lifestyles of trust fund successors; from Tinsley Mortimer and Olivia Palermo to?Paris Hilton?and?Nicole Richie, these women produced a new definition of a socialite and divided it into two categories: Park Avenue princesses and Page Six party girls.?
With its extensive history rooted in wealth, rivalry, and scandal, New York high society members today keep a relatively low profile. Yet with the rise of influencer culture at the palm of our hands, it's certain that the next generation of socialites will unravel a new beginning for New York high society in the 21st century.
