Defy's Leadership Strategy Meeting

Defy’s Leadership Team gathered in Ballito for the Leadership & Strategy Meeting on the 19th and 20th of July. This meeting aimed to establish the high-level strategy for the future, and to analyse the progress made thus far in 2018.

The agenda included:

•  Crafting the business’s strategic direction;
•  Define our Team Values and Vision; and
• ·Developing the business culture that will support Defy’s sustainable competitive advantage.

The workshop assisted in formulating strategies to grow Defy’s business and future strategic positioning in the sub-Saharan region. The Leadership Team also framed the 2030 Business Strategy, and highlighted key strategic tasks to achieve this high-level approach. Amongst other pressing topics, the Leadership Team discussed the further development of talent management, and the business environment they would like to cultivate to become an “employer of choice”.

We’re confident that the outcomes of this Strategy Meeting will drive effective business management and continued sustained growth in Defy’s operations in the coming months.
