The Definition of Sensor and Transmitter?

The first difference between sensor and transmitter is the sense of sensor and transmitter. The sensor is a transducer that is used to change the amount of magnetic, mechanical, heat, light, chemical electric be current or voltage. Typically the sensor is used to detect measurement and control.

There are many types of sensors. The first proximity sensor is a sensor that detects a target such as metals without physical contact. The second light sensor which serves to convert light into electrical quantities such as applied to digital cameras.

The third is a pressure sensor that serves to measuring wire tension by converting mechanical stress into electrical signals. The fourth is a magnetic sensor which is a tool that affected the magnetic field and will give change in conditions at the output. The fifth is a temperature sensor that is used to convert heat into electricity. There are many more types of sensors used in electronic world

While the transmitter is a device used to change the sensing element from a sensor is converted into a signal that can be read by the controller. A given signal, there are two types of pneumatic and electric signals. Is a pneumatic signal transmission using compressed air to send a signal, while the greater the pressure used is 3-25 psi. This signaling system is kind of the old system before it appears an electrical signal. While the electronic signal is a transmission that uses electric signals to transmit a signal with a range of 4-20 mA and 1-5 VDC.
