That statement can be applied to many hot , chilled and condenser water systems. Typically, chemicals are added to the water to prevent corrosion but corrosion still takes place. As a result the systems' heat exchangers, chillers, and TCV strainers get clogged requiring cleaning and flushing.

8 年On a hot water system the air separator should be placed between the boiler and circulating pump where the temperature is the highest and the pressure the lowest. Under those circumstances dissolved air is released from the water and "scrubbed" out of the flow by SweepCLEAR media.

8 年I know of a major university located in Atlanta, that would greatly benefit from this type of installation, however their leadership misses why the current AS, that they call an ET, needs to be located before the boiler's tempering value! Lead water maybe, but getting to understand why they need to drink the water is a whole another matter of the learning curve!
