Last week we connected with business teams to discuss why defining ways of working for teams in Remote First is important. We highlighted various issues which were mentioned in focus groups, exit interviews, engagement survey and emphasized on how documenting ways of working can help in resolving those problems in long term. we tried to explain ways of working with football example, how Liverpool won against Barcelona in Champion Leagues semi final by coming up from the deficit of 3 goals. How ways of working help football teams to decide their roles, purpose, team goals before playing a match and when a substitute joins (more like a new joiner in business team) in the middle, he clearly knows what his role is in the game.
