Thank you for the insightful article. I think it’s also important to measure performance in terms of laboratory test scope. Different tests have different TAT so it’s crucial to identify key performance metrics that will really show the laboratory performance. In my experience, some labs are said to be underperforming on the basis of wrong metrics used to assess performance. Each lab is unique and has its own challenges, so comparing labs performance will not assist!
