Innovators from a multitude of backgrounds may submit solutions covering the following technology areas: air platform, battlespace, biomedical, chemical bio defense, electronics, ground sea, information systems, materials, nuclear, sensors, and space platforms to receive SBIR funding from the U.S. Air Force. Submissions are due Feb. 23.

$75,000 Available to Geospatial and Computer Science Innovators | Feb. 27, 2023 | Prize Challenge | National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) & National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)

Geospatial and computer science innovators may submit novel solutions for the search and discovery of geospatial content to receive up to $75,000 from NSIN, in partnership with NGA, during the geoSpatial Environment for Access, Retrieval & Content Hosting (gSEARCH) challenge. Submissions are due Feb. 27.

[NEW] Funding Available for HF DF Antenna | Feb. 27, 2023 | Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) | Defense Innovation Unit (DIU)

Innovators with prototypes for highly accurate small form factor High Frequency Direction Finding (HF DF) antennas may submit their solutions to DIU for the potential to be selected for a contract award. Submissions are due Feb. 27.

[NEW] Funding Available for Drag Reduction for Legacy Aircraft | Feb. 28, 2023 | Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) | Defense Innovation Unit (DIU)

Innovators with solutions to reduce fuel consumption through aircraft and control surface drag reduction may submit their solutions to DIU for the potential to be selected for a contract award. Submissions are due Feb. 28.

$75,000 Available to Computer Science Innovators | March 1, 2023 | Prize Challenge | National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) & National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)

Computer science innovators with solutions for the generation of synthetic (SynGen) training data for computer vision (CV) algorithms may be awarded $75,000 and have the potential for follow-on opportunities with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). Submissions are due March 1.

$530,000 in Prizes Available to Eligible International Innovators | March 2, 2023 | Prize Challenge | U.S. Army xTech

Eligible international small- and medium-sized businesses and academic institutions with advanced manufacturing and materials innovations have an opportunity to engage with the DoD, win part of a $530,000 prize purse, and potentially participate in the xTech accelerator program through the U.S. Army’s xTech|International program. Submissions are due March 2.

SBIR/STTR Grants Available to Innovators in Multiple Technology Areas | March 7, 2023 | Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) Grants | Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)

Innovators with technologies for integrating sets of commodity devices, creating synthetic data sets, or building prototypes of metamaterial antennae may receive SBIR/STTR grants from DARPA. Submissions are due March 7.?

SBIR/STTR Opportunities Available from Multiple DoD Agencies | March 8, 2023 | Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) Grants | Department of Defense

Innovators with scientific or technological solutions that address a range of challenges facing the United States Air Force , US Navy , Defense Health Agency , Defense Logistics Agency , Defense Microelectronics Activity , or Missile Defense Agency may receive SBIR/STTR grants. Submissions are due March 8.?

Opportunities Available to Environmental Technology Innovators | March 21, 2023 | Broad Agency Announcement | Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NEXWC)

Innovators in the field of environmental science may submit research covering technology and methods to improve the environmental impact of U.S. Navy operations. Selected abstracts may receive requests for full proposals. Submissions are due March 21.

[NEW] Funding Available for Research Supporting Social Media Narrative Monitoring | March 23, 2023 | Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) Grant | United States Special Operations Command ( USSOCOM )

Innovators able to develop applied research to support the detection, tracking, and differentiation of narratives on social media may submit proposals for the potential to receive Phase I SBIR/STTR grants. Submissions are due March 23.

Opportunities Available to Contested Logistics Innovators | March 31, 2023 | Open Call for Whitepapers | 美国军队

Innovators with technologies with applications for network and joint contested logistics that address topics like management of autonomous systems, erosion control, reconnaissance, concealment and maneuver under persistent surveillance, defense against electromagnetic warfare, and defense against precision munitions may submit whitepapers for the chance to participate in demonstrations and the potential for follow-on opportunities with the U.S. Army. Submissions are due March 31.

Opportunities Available to Biotech Innovators | April 20, 2023 | Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) | Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)

Innovators in the field of biotechnology may submit research covering topics including human performance; materials, sensors, and processing; ecosystem and environment; biosecurity and biosafety; and biomedicine and biodefense to receive funding from DARPA. Innovators with selected abstracts may receive requests for full proposals. Submissions are due April 20.

Funding Available for Adaptive Warfighting Architectures | June 2, 2023 | Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) | Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)

Innovators with technologies that support warfighters, making their jobs easier and safer through improvements to data analytics and process improvement; sensing and tracking; precision; survivability; communications; operations management; testing; modeling and simulation; and more may be eligible to receive awards from DARPA. Submissions are due June 2.
