US DoD Funds Hybrid Aircraft for Maritime ISR Missions?

Hybrid Air Vehicles Ltd ?(HAV) is collaborating with US defense personnel on the Zero Carbon Logistics Support Via Hybrid Aircraft project to enhance logistics capabilities, ISR operations, and communications in the Pacific.

New 25-Horsepower Heavy-Fueled Rotary Engine for Military Applications

LiquidPiston ?has announced its intent to commercialize the XTS-210, a 25-horsepower, two-stroke, supercharged, liquid-cooled, 210cc rotary engine.

Compared to current diesel piston engines, the XTS-210 design reduces size and weight by nearly 80%, while maintaining comparable power output.

The XTS-210 model is designed to meet demanding military and commercial heavy-fuel applications, including mobile electric power generation, primary or hybrid-electric propulsive power for VTOL aircraft and small UAS, as well as auxiliary power units for land, air, and marine vehicles. Learn more>

CAES Awarded Navy Contract for AN/ALQ-99 Low Band Consolidation Transmitters

CAES ?has been awarded a contract from the? US Navy ?for the initial pre-production phase of the AN/ALQ-99 Low Band Consolidation (LBC) transmitter, a modification to the AN/ALQ-99 Low Band Transmitter.

CAES transmitters are designed, built and tested to provide high power across multiple octave bandwidths, which allows them to withstand the demanding and severe environment of maritime, Tactical Aviation (TACAIR) aircraft operating from US Navy Aircraft Carriers. First UK Trial of Heavy UGVs Completed in Dorset?

The first ever UK trial of Heavy UGVs has taken place, with companies from the Human-Machine Teaming framework demonstrating the capabilities of their vehicles to the? British Army .
