In defence of doubting and free speech and against ideological possession

Search within your soul ... there is too much to fathom... Search in the depth of your being and look up to the external world ... there is just too much too fathom. So, why are you attempting to betray this truth?—speak your being forward—trusting that others also do the same. Your being is constituted not of your presuppositions, not of your knowledge or even merely your beliefs. Your being is something far richer, far more powerful to reach the truth. Your being, at a given time, is the totality of your thoughts, experiences, emotions and beliefs and not solely of your BELIEFS. 

Those who proclaim to be the men of knowledge and would only prefer their own perceptions of knowledge to be written as ‘facts’, as it happens, they are like an overloaded ship without wise and skilful crews that sinks to the bottom of the ocean. No longer is the ship floating harmoniously... no longer will the ship see the light, and no longer will the ship meet its destination. Carrying the burden of knowledge requires humility, and humility not of a sort that is predicated on the denial of one's beliefs and experiences. That would prevent one from building the ship in the first place!... but humility of a sort, that, if you find yourself drowning in the bottom of the ocean, you would admit to it, and perhaps to even permit the truth to permeate through the deepest waters of your beliefs . And this is continually happening, you see people drowning in the bottom of their own oceans, suffocating in their own perceptions and beliefs that the ship they spent decades building is still floating—not realizing that it is all a matter of illusion. Not to mention that, the price they are paying is that the ship of their being is under intolerable torment, of a sort that is the result of being under the power of evil forces. 

So which ship are you supposed to keep alive and healthy? The ship of your being or the ship of your beliefs that is constantly attempting to exert its megalomania in order to keep itself alive. You ask, where do these evil forces come from, and why would they be interested to invest all their energy to corrupt my being through their tyranny? Well, as it happens, your inner self is constituted of multiplicity of desires, some of whom are the allies of those forces. Some of whom are, in fact, the architect of the type of ship that is capable of being inhibited by those evil forces. Let’s be true to ourselves, the will to power, the will to be right and to have a moral authority is, in fact, the ship in which pathological ideologies can feed on. They both want power over your being, which at all times endeavours to survive. Your being is always illuminating the bright light that you are searching for, but one must also know that two lights are always more powerful than one. If we all pay attention to our own light as well as the lights of others, we will be able to make our ships flow. How do we come to see other people’s lights of their being? ... That is simple my friend- but perhaps now simple means difficult to understand...or perhaps, not being accustomed in hearing the simple will stop one from spotting the simple. The simple answer is through free speech in good will. Perhaps, the speech shouldn’t be free, as the lights of others can hurt our eyes, but be cautious as one can live without their eyes but nobody can without their being…
