Defeat is not worth thinking about

I was on my bed yesterday night trying to sleep, so I decided to keep myself busy by playing a game on my phone called Zuma. I got to a level and immediately something tells me I won’t pass this level, I paused for a while, later i realised i have concede to defeat even when i have not tried, then I told myself that Defeat is not the worst of failures. Not to have tried is the true failure. And guess what, I tried and I won.

Now listen Defeat is not worth thinking about

Success in life comes when you simply refuse to give up

Winning is great, sure, but if you are really going to do something in life, the secret is learning how to lose. Nobody goes undefeated all the time. If you can pick up after a crushing defeat, and go on to win again, you are going to be a champion someday.

You've got to learn to survive a defeat. That's when you develop character.

Never confuse a single defeat with final defeat

I added {...“Build me a son, O Lord, who will be strong enough to know when he is weak, and brave enough to face himself when he is afraid, one who will be proud and unbending in honest defeat, and humble and gentle in victory”...} to my prayers since yesterday.

Defeat doesn't finish a man, quit does. A man is not finished when he's defeated. He's finished when he quits.

If you have no confidence in self, you are twice defeated in the race of life

One thing I must say here is, Never be in a hurry, do everything quietly and in a calm spirit, do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, even if your whole all world seems upset.
