Defcon's Voting Village
In 2018 I attended the Defcon conference in Las Vegas. When my friends and I walked down a hallway in Caesars Palace, there were meeting rooms on each side that held a village of one type or another (classroom that focuses on one subject), one of the fellows pointed out Voting Village.
It may have been the first time Defcon had a Voting Village. I could be wrong about that, but electronic voting machines were still very new in the world of elections. This is a classroom where pen testers could work hands-on with the newest voting machines, if not, it would still be a newer feature of Defcon.
At the moment that I laid eyes on the entry of Voting Village, there were several major news organizations standing outside the door with mics and cameras ready. Why were they there?
An 11-year-old boy successfully penetrated a voting machine and manipulated it.
In the 2016 Presidental Election, you may remember that machines in Houston, Texas changed votes from Donald Trump to Hillary Clinton. The voters noticed this swap and immediately addressed the malfunction to correct their ballot. Since 2016 was a million years ago in my busy mind, I don't remember reading anything about voter fraud or election fraud with the machines.
The current idea or thought of election fraud via voting machines isn't false news. It's really happened with verifiable proof beyond a reasonable doubt. But keep in mind, the fraud could go both ways.

4 年My gut tells me it is unlikely Trump gained 7 million plus more supporters in 2020 vs. 2016. This suggests machines this time were hacked in Trumps favor just not enough to stop the blue wave of absentee ballots.
