2024 Tech Milestones

This year has been transformative for Defactor, with improvements in our technological ecosystem. Some of our key milestones include:

• Launching $FACTR on Base
• Listing on Gate.io
• Introducing Pools v2?
• Upgrading Engage v2 with staking and governance features
• Releasing our Open Source SDK to empower developers

?2024 Business Development Milestones

This year showed significant advancements for Defactor’s business development, making our presence stronger in the DeFi and RWA ecosystems. Key partnerships and initiatives include:

• AURUS : Launched a tGold lending pool backed by physical gold.
• Landshare : Enabled loans with $LSRWA and $LAND as collateral.
• Libertum : Introduced staking to enhance token utility and community engagement.
• Stobox : Focused on rewards, liquidity, and decentralized governance.
• LandX Finance : Facilitated loans secured by Basket tokens.
• RealtyX DAO : Provided the ability to borrow $USDC against $RST tokens.

These milestones show Defactor's dedication to building important partnerships in 2024, and for the years to come.?

2024 IRL event?

This year, Defactor made its mark with over 30 appearances at major events worldwide, building connections and sharing ideas in the DeFi space. Highlights include:

• TOKEN2049: Present in both Singapore and Dubai.
• European Blockchain Convention, in Barcelona.
• Blockchain Ireland: Bringing Web3 conversations to Europe.
• Latam Summit: Reaching new audiences in Latin America.
• DevCon: Connecting with the South-East Asian community in Bangkok.

Map of 2024 Real World Assets Get Real events

This year, Defactor brought the discussion around RWAs to communities across the globe with our RWAs Get Real events. These meetups were all about sharing ideas, starting collaboration, and connecting with people passionate about DeFi.?

From April to December, we made stops in:

• Lisbon, Portugal
• Dubai, UAE
• Hong Kong
• Bogota, Colombia
• Singapore
• Bangkok, Thailand
• Taipei, Taiwan: Wrapping up the year with the RWA Run and a networking coffee during Taipei Blockchain Week on December 13.

Market analysis: A breakthrough year for Real-World Asset Tokenization

This year marked a significant rise in Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization. Together with RWA.io and Veritas Web3, we explored trends and analyzed data to offer a perspective on where RWAs are headed in the coming years.

II- Highlights of the Month

Community Challenges and Taipei Blockchain Week Collaborations

This December, we launched two community challenges: a holiday-themed contest with $FACTR token rewards and a Taipei Blockchain Week giveaway in partnership with Anzen and Ocean Finance (ex. ISLE Finance) .?

This month we participated in two interesting X Spaces.?

• Anastasia Nizhegorodtceva represented us as a guest speaker at RealtyX DAO ’s 2nd MTR Workshop AMA alongside Plume Network , Jasper Vault, and Continum DAO.?
• We also hosted our own Space exploring green energy, carbon markets, and the transformative potential of tokenization, featuring experts from KlimaDAO , EcoTrader , and ENER .

Defactor at Taipei Blockchain Week: Community Run and Year-End Networking

Anastasia represented Defactor at Taipei Blockchain Week, the final event of the year for us. We also organized a community run followed by a networking session over coffee, in collaboration with Kuma Protocol and Anzen .?

It was a great way to close out the year, connect with the community, and discuss RWA.?
