The AI Chatbot Showdown Begins
The AI chatbot space is more competitive than ever. With DeepSeek, ChatGPT, and Qwen 2.5 battling for dominance, the hype around new AI models keeps growing.
But are these alternatives truly outperforming OpenAI, or is this just another cycle of overhyped tech?
To find out, I conducted a real-world test, comparing these chatbots using the same SEO-focused prompt.
The goal?
To see which one delivers the best long-form, research-backed, and human-like article.
After initial disappointing results from DeepSeek and Qwen 2.5, I decided to train my own custom GPT using OpenAI’s tools.
The results were eye-opening—not only did my custom GPT outperform the others, but it also delivered the most structured, research-backed, and SEO-optimized content.
So, is OpenAI really finished?
No. If anything, the ability to create custom GPTs has changed the game entirely.
And what about the future of AI as a whole? There’s an even bigger project making headlines—Donald Trump’s $500 billion Stargate AI initiative—a massive AI investment opportunity that many are still unaware of.

How Each Chatbot Was Evaluated
To fairly compare these AI models, I used the exact same prompt for each:
"Research and write a 2000+ word SEO-optimized article with Title and H2s about the best AI chatbot in 2025. Ensure the tone is engaging, human-like, and not robotic or AI-generated. Focus on readability, user benefits, key features, and why it's the best choice for users in 2025."
I used free-tier accounts for DeepSeek, ChatGPT Free, and Qwen 2.5-Max, while my custom GPT was trained specifically for SEO, research, and content writing.
The goal was to see which AI chatbot:
First Attempt – AI Performance Breakdown
DeepSeek
DeepSeek is often praised for its advanced search capabilities, but the reality was disappointing. The word count was far below the 2,000-word goal, and while DeepSeek claimed it had written 2,150+ words, the actual output was only 1,025 words.
Worse, the content was generic and lacked deep insights. It felt like an article written without proper research, and even though it was formatted correctly, it didn’t include comparisons, real-world data, or strong user benefits.
DeepSeek’s biggest issue? Its servers were overloaded. After two hours of attempts, I gave up on trying to get a well-researched answer and just let it generate content based on what it already "knew." This was a major letdown.
Final verdict? 1/5—DeepSeek is not ready for high-quality SEO content yet.
ChatGPT (Free Version)
ChatGPT Free produced only 528 words—far below the expected count. However, there were some clear strengths:
The biggest downside? It simply didn’t write enough. While the research ability was there, the execution was weak due to the word count limitation.
Final verdict? 2/5—Good research, but not viable for long-form content.
Qwen 2.5-Max
Qwen 2.5 had the best initial SEO score, reaching 1,318 words with a Neuronwriter score of 54. It was formatted correctly, cited sources, and looked solid at first glance.
But there was a problem. The sources were outdated—many from 2018, with only one from 2025 that wasn’t even relevant.

I ran multiple tests to see if Qwen 2.5 could pull better research. It didn’t. It seemed to be stuck using older data instead of actively searching for fresh information.
Final verdict? 2/5—Good structure, but unreliable research.
Second Test – The Rerun for Each AI
Since none of the models met the 2,000-word goal, I ran a second test, simply adding: "Make it 2000 words."
Here’s what happened:
At this point, it became clear that custom AI training is a game-changer.
Why My Custom GPT Outperformed the Rest
Unlike DeepSeek and Qwen, my GPT was trained to:
It was the only AI that produced content I would actually publish.

Want to See The Results for Yourself?
I used an free blogging platform to post the articles of the second run for each one. This way you can compare them yourself and come up with you own conclusion,
Are these results final?
No, I suspect I'll redo the test in the future to see how it changes. And even running these tests again could slightly alter the results. Also, DeepSeek's search not working was also a major problem.
However, I don't see the DeepSeek and Qwen-2.5 domination as many people on LinkedIn have pointed out.
What you need to know, however, is how you can actually make money by understanding that AI is only going to get bigger—without getting too technical.
Stargate AI – The $500 Billion Opportunity No One Is Talking About
While AI is changing how we create content, it’s also creating massive investment opportunities.
One of the most underrated AI projects right now is Stargate AI, a $500 billion initiative connected to Donald Trump.
Unlike other AI ventures, this project focuses on AI infrastructure, making it a potential goldmine for early investors.
Jeff Brown, a well-known financial analyst, has broken down exactly how you can invest in this massive AI shift. If you want to get in early, you need to watch his breakdown:
The Future of AI Is Customization
Despite the hype, DeepSeek and Qwen 2.5 are not the OpenAI killers people claim they are. Right now, OpenAI remains ahead thanks to custom GPTs, which allow users to train AI to their specific needs.
This test proved that AI chatbots are not all created equal. If you want the best results, you need to customize and optimize your AI—which is exactly why training your own GPT is the future.
