DeepSeek or DeepFake?

Well who doesn't want to talk about DeepSeek at this point, my laptop literally has given over every piece of data imaginable to the CPP at this point. Except hey, who hasn't in between all the different apps we use nowadays. Pretty sure Siri has already handed Apple whatever amount my data costs over to everyone else. Anyways we can get to that in a few.

DeepFakes

Well of course lets talk about it. Who knows if DeepSeek is actually a DeepFake but right now it is taking the world by storm with how little money and little computing it needed to be created. Versus the big dogs like OpenAI and such who need to spend hundred of millions out there just to get ChatGPT to tell you how to make Mac and Cheese. Either way its interesting to see how this plays out.

The Tariffs

This week Trump was able to get a world leader to back down due to a tariff threat, primarily due to the fact that Columbia would not accept migrants from a US military plane. This was interesting to see and I think any country outside of the US will need to keep a watchful eye on how Trump deals with other tariff threats he has in place for countries like Canada, Mexico and China.

Gulf of what?....

This week we saw Trump change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America, and interesting change of events. Will be interesting to see if anyone actually changes their maps to follow suit.
