What is #DeepFake exactly you might ask? Wikipedia explain #DeepFake (a portmanteau of "deep learning" and "fake") as synthetic media in which a person in an existing image or video is replaced with someone else's likeness. While the act of creating fake content is not new, deepfakes leverage powerful techniques from machine learning and artificial intelligence to manipulate or generate visual and audio content that can more easily deceive.
Trend of using #DeepFake is getting more prevalent and worrying as it slipped into our daily information consumption, no matter it is #SocialMedia or mainstream #News, the most worrying of all is the use in influencing outcome of election.
