..........Deep Thinking Potential

Would you believe it if I told you, that it has been estimate the average person spends 68% of their thoughts on things that don't really matter ?

Most of us wonder around much of the day in a habitual haze. Habits we are not aware of, good or bad that we have not decidedly chosen for ourselves. These unconscious habits are taking up space in our preoccupied minds. Automotive behaviors, that a lot of the time we are oblivious too.

The capacity to think deeply

The typical human will lose focus every 10 seconds. – You must consciously decide at each 10 second interval whether or not to continue thinking about the topic.

If you don’t make a decision, the default decision is to lose your focus and your mind will start to wonder. If you decide to think about a single topic, you will need to refocus continually to do it successfully.

To see your deep thinking capacity choose an important topic that you’d like to think about. Bring a time-keeping device and think about that topic for 10 minutes. Insure you are uninterrupted with no distractions in peaceful area.

Success will depend on each person, as attention spans are greatly varied. So start out with 5 minutes, see if you can do it, and take it from there. If you fall into the average statistic of losing focus every 10 seconds, you will have successfully refocused 30 times!

You might be surprised at the ideas you come up with and just how difficult it is to focus constantly. It’s not just because of the infinite number of possible thoughts and ideas that can overload your brain (i.e. your processor).

We can see excesses resources with in the brain not being used in other ways also.

Perfectionism is a naturally limiting mindset. It is not a growth mindset that frees up brain activity to allow the excess to engage new and exciting ideas. Enjoying the process and not limiting the expectation of the final outcome is a powerful vehicle for new neural path ways

Learning to make mistakes is a tool and a gift that when done with ease is one of the fast tools to creating new habits and behaviors.

Although it is not effective to tell perfectionists fight against and resist all perfectionist thinking, we utilize the perfectionist's current desires by redirecting them to healthier applications, resulting in more success with less stress

When we strive for success with goal setting, a popular but ineffective tradition is to desire behavioral change, such as motivation-driven living, emotional manipulation, and an overall focus on the self instead of strategy and the process.

Instead we start with a deep understanding of how emotion, motivation, fear, action, ambition, desire for comfort, desire for safety, and our insecurities interact with one another to push us to a default state of reaction and inaction
