The Deep Movings of the Holy Ghost
The Deep Movings of the Holy Ghost
by Dr. Michael H Yeager
There have been times when I went deep into the movings of the Holy Ghost. I have shared this experience in many of my books. One day I was ministering to a large crowd of people. When I gave an altar call for healing, many people lined up. As I am going down the line, I get lost in the Holy Ghost. I was prophesying over people, laying hands, speak in the name of Jesus. People are trembling and shaking in God’s presence.
The people were falling like dead men under the presence of God’s glory. I found myself standing in front of this young lady. I knew by the Holy Ghost that she had TMJ. Without even thinking, by the quickening of the spirit, with my right hand, I slapped her in the face as hard as I could.
Some would be extremely offended at this action, but this was the Holy Ghost. How do I know? Listen to the rest of the story. The minute I slapped her as hard as I could the Holy Ghost power of God hit her. She went down to the floor like a dead person under the influence of God.
As I continued to minister to the people, I stayed in this deep moving of the spirit. When I was done ministering, I began to come back into the natural. When I did it finally hit me what I had done to this young lady. I realized I had hit her so hard that I must’ve left my fingerprints on her face. I looked down the line to see her standing now on her feet.
She had her hands lifted towards heaven, and she was crying. With fear and trembling, I walked down to where she was standing.
At the time I had hit this young lady so hard that the sound of it had echoed through the building. Many people gasped when I had hit her. It literally took away the breath of some of the congregation. Why would God have you do this pastor Mike? Ask him, not me. The proof in the pudding is in the eating.
Trembling with fear for what I had done to her without realizing it was upon me. I timidly walked up to her. I had slapped her with my right hand on her left cheek. I peeked around the side of her face to her left side. In the natural, I was expecting to see my fingerprints in her face. To my wonderful shock and amazement, there was not one mark on her cheek.
As she stood there crying, I asked her a question. I said to her: when I slapped you in the face….. At that very moment, she stopped me by saying: You Did What?
I changed my question, and I said, when I touched your face, what happened to you?
You not slap somebody like that and not leave your fingerprints. She said it felt like a feather brushed my face! As she's crying she says, the TMJ is all gone. The TMJs all gone.
