A lot have been said, marketed , put across and heavily advertised in areas of Data Science , ML and Deep Learning- which puts us in a frenzy of how do customers embark the journey of Advanced technologies to adopt measurable outcomes.The madness for jargons and strategies thrown about by marketing frenzy is deafening...Let me talk here more as a geek , a partner and a CDO ally who have seen this un-fold..

I have been talking to many CDO's over last year and what comes out as a biggest challenge is that have to lead an entire internal marketing initiative to educate everyone in the company — from senior executives to business to training the data science teams— on the value of internal data science. CDO needs to incorporate this narrative into every aspect of the organization as well as make the technology choices.
