Deep-hole drilling in action with the SINUMERIK CNC featuring OSG’s A BRAND? ADO 15xD High Performance Drill & BIG KAISER's Hi-Jet coolant inducer

If you've ever needed to drill a hole deeper than 10 times its diameter, then you already know that it shouldn't be taken lightly. Deep-hole drilling adds additional variables that can turn the easiest job into a nightmare. In my case, I need to drill a 1/4-inch hole through a 4-inch block of aluminum. To handle this, I've partnered with OSG USA, and will be using the A Brand? ADO 15xD High Performance Coolant-feed drill (List #6535). Unfortunately, my CM-20 milling machine didn't come equipped with through-spindle coolant — but that won’t stop us. I've added the BIG KAISER hi-jet coolant inducer to deliver the coolant exactly where I need it.
