Deep Dive Into Your Why...
One of my favorite things to do with my husband is to try new restaurants! Our first date was the best date of my life! His only plan was to go downtown and try new things... any men reading this article... take note. So fun!
My only beef (Funny saying that! We are pescatarians). My only issue is that even though I am from the Chicagoland area, my husband insists on taking control of navigation. Actually, I don't even take "issue" with it. It cracks me up.
I'd swear this will never change in any generation. Too, funny. I have fun with it. This pic is from a Facebook post I could not resist sharing. And every time... we end up walking blocks... BLOCKS in the opposite direction. Why oh why must we go through the same thing every time.
We do have fun though. We are explorers in Chicago, in any area for that matter. Never mind that I grew up in Chicagoland area. When we visit a new city it's incredible fun to have ourselves set up to explore. And sharing that with our kids. Explore. Try new things, new foods.
You may be asking what on earth does this have to do with the topic, "Deep Dive Into Your Why"? Well! Thanks for asking.
Exploration! Ha- bet you thought it was about WHY won't he let me navigate?! Nope. It's about exploration.
I had a conversation this week with a friend who is a therapist. We somehow started talking about how important our "why" is. And how easily someone can one-off the topic. It is not that simple. While, sure, you can claim your why as, "It's for my kids" "I do all of this for my family's happiness."
But if you are in a job, are an entrepreneur, or have decided to go back to get your degree and you are not feeling fulfilled; it could possibly be because you have not identified you true, deep routed why.
I'm inviting you to join me into my world of exploration in finding happiness in what you do and learning your why...
