Dedicated to All Digital Marketeers :)

Dedicated to All Digital Marketeers :)

To all Respected Owners/Founders,

I really appreciate your hard work and dedication what you have done for your company. You have been doing really great job since you started your company, continuous work in days & nights, sacrificing your happiness, avoided multiple trips with family and friends, ignored your wishes what you wanted to do just because of you wanted to do something bigger in future.

You started all the way to cover in marketing aspects, promotions, brochures & flyers distribution, Door-to-Door activities, multiple events, references, foreign conferences and business trips. You gave all your time, money and efforts of course. After few years you are now owner/partner of 20-30 employees ( Assumed) company.

I have a small question- If you have taken few years to established yourself, your company after doing a...........ll these activities then what do you think about "Digital Marketeers"? Are they super-humans who can give you instant result in very first day that too 2% of amount what you had spent in your "Traditional Marketing"?

You spent 1 Lac on single small advertisement but didn't get good results then you blame on your luck that this was not good attempt we should try something else or any other newspaper. While in Digital Marketing, why you blame on "Digital Marketers" that they are wasting your money on Google because you are not getting results on the basis of 3-5 days results, amount spent which is hardly 7-10k. Digital Marketing is an art of experiments not a magic what you have assumed it.

If I am not wrong then in the case of paper advertising you don't have any person to blame ,Right? But in the case of  "Digital Marketing" you have Someone/Team to blame along with Google as well as they are allowing irrelevant clicks on your ads for what you have to pay. LOL

Close your eyes for 5 minutes, go back to flashback to recall what you have done so far to achieve this level, what you have today, what you are today. It was not an easy task ever, it almost took half of your life, struggles and efforts. Same, you have to keep patience with "Digital-Marketing" not as much you did in old days but yes at least few months to see change in your business growth. Judging in a 1-2 months anyone in the field of "Digital-Marketing" is a super-stupid activity.

"Digital Marketeers" are assets for your company of course but they don't have super natural powers.

I am not against of anyone I am just sharing few of my friends stories who are working with companies as a "Digital-Marketeers" but I have felt they are working in under pressure more than sales team. What a drastic change....I still remember when I used to heard that, the most difficult job is "Sales" but now I would say "its Digital Marketing" because un-till they don't generate business leads, sales team can't work. Because they don't have anything to work on.

Think innovative, Be innovative, Act innovative in any term of "Marketing" but keep patience for the better results.

Cheers!

Nice writeup! Completely true! Digital Marketeers do not have magic wands in their hands to do 'Abra-Ka-Dabra' n show the results in spread sheets in days. Moreover, Google or any search engine is not our friend or relative, where they index next second we submit and start showing in SERPs the next minute. LOLLLL!!! Everybody knows that 'Digital Marketing' is not an activity that throws back results at you in days. Thanks for the post Roshni!!

Hey Roshani, Very interesting and true too. Absolutely "Digital Marketeers" are not super natural powers and no one have right to blame entirely for less sales. You point out all the accuses against "Digital Marketeers" and defend them nicely. Thanks for sharing valuable info with us.
