Sanjana: Bhaiyaa, how is your home decoration coming along?

Dheeraj: Great! Deepa finished the kids and our bedrooms. I’m now working on the living room. I just added some throw pillows and an accent rug to give it a more vibrant look.

Sanjana: I really want to give my bedroom a fresh look too.

Dheeraj: That sounds exciting – so when do you plan to start? I will help you, no issues.

Sanjana (laughing nervously): Bhaiyaa, to be frank, starting is a problem, I mean, I’ve browsed the internet for ideas, but it’s so confusing! I’m actually stressed out about it.

Dheeraj: Yes, Sanju, I can relate, not just because we are siblings, but I went through that phase myself. Deepa and I liked many ideas on the net, but we just couldn’t streamline them.

Sanjana: Exactly! Even if I pick up a theme, I end up making these long shopping lists. Then I feel, what if it’s a waste? Practically it isn’t possible to keep buying new things, na? Then I thought, for so much money, I might as well hire a professional.

Dheeraj: Yeah, there are so many elements bedding, rugs, curtains, knick-knacks, houseplants, artwork, the list is endless. We both used to go to exhibitions and pick up things we liked. When we got home, we would have trouble arranging them, everything would be a hodge-podge. Do you recall our store room (kothi ghar) filled up with so many things? Now again we have a new store room to dump these things.

Sanjana: But then how are you so comfortable with decorating now?

Dheeraj: I found out you don’t need to spend too much time or money on getting a beautiful home. Do you know Aparna? She told me about the website www.lifeceo.in and their range of courses with practical knowledge about House Skills. I enrolled for their Home Décor course – it shares basic theories in simple language and gives tips and demos on how to make any space fresh and beautiful.?

Sanjana: Oh wow, thanks Bhaiyaa for sharing this! It sounds like a great way for me to smarten up my bedroom. Having someone to guide me without it becoming a burden sounds perfect!
