Deconstructing Heritage Foundation Project 25
?Deep Dive Project 25 (part 1 of 10) – Heritage Foundation Tax Exempt Charity and Sedition
?
This election feels a lot like?McCarthyism?all over again, but?on steroids?directed against our freedom, democracy, and rule of law, not just a blacklist of McCarthy’s perceived enemies.
The terrible no good really bad Project 25 is much, much, much, worse than you might have imagined, unless you love fascism. Unfortunately, there are lots of fascists among us.

Deep Dive Project 25 (part 3 of 10) – Heritage Foundation’s Weird, Unjustified, Wrong, Dangerous Claims
?
Guess what Heritage Foundation blames the U.S. total deficit on? They blame it on Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), specifically Medicare and Medicaid. This argument is pathetically simplistic, for instance medical care is necessary not optional, and there are many budget items that cost more than Medicare and Medicaid, and furthermore, Medicare is partially paid by user fees.?It is almost certain if the Trump/Vance team wins the November election they will within the first year defund and/or entirely abolish Medicare, Medicaid, Affordable Care Act, Social Security and UI, or change them in ways so drastic that they are no longer effective pillars of our social safety net.

Deep Dive Project 25 (part 4 of 10) – Unpacking = Deconstructing Heritage Foundation’s Weird Fascism
?
Let’s unpack Project 25?to see if it holds up to its lofty mission statement (or not), and to see why it would be rational to infer Heritage Foundation could (at least) justly have their tax-exempt status revoked, and that there is a strong?ipso facto?case for prosecuting the federal crime of sedition against them.

Deep Dive Project 25 (part 6 of 10) – Weird Culture Wars “The Great Awokening” (Abortion, etc.)
?
If you think about it, woke literally means to be awake, to be alert, to be able to see things as they actually are, and certainly to be able to tell the difference between right and wrong, true and false. However, in the way that they tend to?make everything be corrupted by strangeness, Heritage Foundation and now the vast majority of Republicans, but not people with true conservative bona fides, they?make woke to be weird. They apply the preposterous notion of “alternate facts” to everything! All the good things that build civilization and sustain civilization, are corrupted into bad things, for instance feeding hungry children, making voting easy, loving whoever you love, reading the books you want to read, having children or not, right to abortion, birth control, IVF, right to not get shot to death when you go to a public festival, rights to security in old age, security at any age, unionize, a fair wage, affordable housing, food, clean air and clean water, health care, education, time with family and friends, time for fun, laughter and play, etc.?All of those good things are now in jeopardy with the onslaught of radical, extremist, white Christo nationalist, supremacist, racist, misogynist, xenophobic, homophobic fascism.?

Deep Dive Project 25 (part 7 of 10) - Banning Books and Banning Words, Cancelling Unions and Deleting Climate Change
?
Republicans, the?party of small government?not only has a list of?bad?books to ban, but they also have a list of?bad?words to ban.?Republicans literally want to control not only your behavior, but they also want to control your thoughts!

Deep Dive Project 25 (part 8 of 10) – Career Professionals vs. Political Appointees
?
Heritage is all in for replacing?career public service professionals (for instance professional scientists)?with?appointees?loyal to the president. The frame seems to be?who needs scientists when an appointed bureaucrat will do exactly whatever they are told to do, for instance especially when science is inconvenient, like almost all of the climate science, and pandemic science is?

“…conservative thought denies that U.S. Ukrainian support is in the national security interest of America at all.?Ukraine?is not a member of the NATO alliance and is one of the most corrupt nations in the region. European nations directly affected by the conflict should aid in the defense of Ukraine, but the?U.S. should not continue its involvement. This viewpoint desires a swift end to the conflict through a[n] [imposed]?negotiated?settlement between Ukraine and Russia.” [brackets added], bold added, cross-out added, Project 25, p. 171.

Deep Dive Project 25 (part 10 of 10) – Cancelling Weird Trump/Vance and Heritage Foundation – U.S. Presidential Election 2024
?
The stark reality is that perhaps 30-40 percent of the U.S. population is all in for fascism! They not only tolerate it, but they also enthusiastically embrace it and beg for more. Those people want to be just like Trump. Trump has now morphed (enabled and empowered by his base MAGA walking dead fascist followers), to the status of religious cult leader. Walking dead is a metaphor (not a call to violence) for the fact that fascists never stop being fascists, rather they stay in hiding until someone gives them permission to come out into full public view (like Trump has done), and when Trump is defeated (he will be), they will go back into hiding. That cult is pathetic and violent. Freedom, democracy, our constitution and the rule of law, do not matter to Trump and his backers, followers and enablers. Trump and his backers, followers and enablers now pose a clear and present existential threat to our freedom, democracy, constitution, and rule of law, not to mention our personal safety (for instance Republicans, Heritage Foundation and Trump/Vance do not offer even a hint of gun safety legislation).
