Decolonising Architecture: Architecture Foundation #100DayStudio
Very much looking forward to my responsibility and role as a key note listener in this evening’s discussion on ‘Decolonising Architecture’ Lead by BFA co-founder Neba Sere and BFA Member & Founding Director of insider-outsider Umi Baden-Powell. The event looks at the importance of diversifying the profession, from understanding the issues for BAME graduates finding a job and accessing practice to the barriers for BAME led businesses to gaining the opportunities to build. They are joined by panelists: Joseph Henry, GLA Regeneration Officer and co-host of Sound Advice; David Ogunmuyiwa, founder of ArchitectureDoingPlace; Tara Gbolade, co-founder of Gbolade Design Studio; and Pedro Gil, founder of Studio Gil, along with invited listeners.
Zoom event via www.architecturefoundation.org.uk today, July 16th, 5:30-6:30pm.
