Bleisure is the concept of business and leisure combined as an experience. The idea of leisure and business was always poles apart. Often considered a taboo, as it is believed that leisure between business would lead to a lower productivity. But things have changed in modern times.?

With the digital age, faster internet connections and embracing a remote lifestyle has given Bleisure a much needed push to the frontline. Subsequently, the pandemic fast-forwarded this adoption by almost a decade. Remote work - something that was considered a norm for travel bloggers and freelancers - has become a norm in any industry that can use information technology to sustain. If we look at the origin of the concept, the most popular would be Airbnb's Experiences, where hosts could offer location-specific experiences to their customers, while they could enjoy a homely environment to stay and work in.

The hospitality industry, amid the pandemic, was quick to adopt and embrace this concept and started catering to work conditions. You could now enjoy your holiday in the location of your choice, with world-class amenities, while not losing out on work. Work-life balance had a new meaning altogether. Terms like “Work From Hotel” or “Ideal for Work From Home” were coined almost overnight. Post the first wave, people started shifting to beach towns and hill stations for a couple of weeks, or even a month, and were working from there. This instilled a healthy work-life balance among them.

Our offerings are pre-booked, so that you don’t have to worry about anything once you are at our property. Our property at Mandarmani had an aesthetic resemblance to the Greek islands, and the resort was located on a private beach. The food and ambiance was homely, while the price was industry standard, to offer you an overall relaxing experience.

Personally, I am truly very excited about the new focus on the bleisure experience. I believe it will uplift the overall quality of life of people by allowing more time with family and loved ones, keeping work flexible yet doable, and allowing peace of mind. Allowing relaxing and earning will eventually become a simultaneous process as more industries adopt the remote work culture. Making our remote holiday destinations more accessible, allowing people more time to take on adventures and new experiences without affecting work life.
