Decoding the Aayushmaan Bharat Maths
Pradhan Mantri- Aayushmaan Bhaarat (Ko Bewakoof banao) Yojana.
Yesterday Nandu claimed that he has launched World's largest ever health care scheme covering 50 Crore people with Rs 1 lakh medical expense cover for each citizen.
I tried to do some easy maths on this.
Considering 50% as premium on average expense. (I pay 6,000 per year for actual average accident repair of around 12,000 once in 3 years or so my car. So over a 3 yr period 18,000 premium over 12,000 of claims . So roughly Rs 4,000 claimed of Rs 6,000 paid as premium. So my premium payout is roughly 150% of expense claim ) // Please educate me if he has come up with some other method of premium calculation.
If the average hospitalization cost is Rs 30- 35 K ( I have never seen a discharge at less than this for accident) , The premium turns out to be INR 50,000
Total cost of premia in this fake, false and fraud scheme : 50 Crore * 0.5 Lakh = 25 Lakh Crore
The annual govt budget for 2017(Presented by Arun Jaitley) = 21.47 lakh crore rupees.
This means if Nandu has to really deliver on this promise, he has put in more money into citizen health scheme than even the entire National Budget.??? #WTF
Interestingly if you read the con scheme terms written by Nandu and his wolves, it becomes clear that *Financial provisions for Aayushmaan Bharat has not been made*. It will be figure out as it goes.
The Feku, as usual has made announcement without having the basic money or funding arrangement, just like he announced 15 lakhs in every one's account in 2014. Its like announcing purchase of Rolls Royce when aukaat is not even to buy a 2nd hand Bajaaj Chetak... but say- Rolls Royce de do .. rupaye baad me dekhe jaayenge
Since 95% of Indians are idiots, no body will either understand the maths or actuarial science or budgeting to question one more Fraud by naali to gas scientist..
The surprise is : Even qualified doctors and CEO get fooled and shower praise on Nandu for his game changer.
The idiocy in this nation probably is more prevalent than even cow-dung .

6 年Arun, Quite acerbic comments. Politics aside, your calculation for premium is DEAD wrong. Health insurance is different from Car Insurance. I have a INR 30 Lac health cover for INR 34000 per year. Samagra provides INR 30000 health coverage for yearly premium of INR ~1000. We are able to do this even though our risk pool is less than 50,000 people. When we are talking about RISK POOL of 50 Crore, premium calculations can be done to provide INR 1 Lac coverage for close to INR 3000-5000 per family or may be even less.
