Adobe’s New AI Tool Can Turn Anyone Into an Infographics Wiz (Fast Company)
Adobe is on a mission to make infographics and data more accessible. Adobe’s new generative AI tool, Adobe Project Infograph It, builds customizable infographics out of data sets and text prompts. The user can then utilize various bar charts, line charts, circle plots and more to showcase the information to their liking, with the ability to add in animation. Of all of AI’s capabilities, one thing is clear: spelling is not its forte. While image generators and text generators use different models, both struggle with accuracy when it comes to details like spelling or including the correct number of fingers on a hand. According to TechCrunch, engineers can train AI with more data to resolve the hand issue, but training it to spell is more challenging. “If we just create a whole bunch of text, they can train a model to try to recognize what is good versus bad, and that might improve things a little bit. But unfortunately, the English language is really complicated,” said Matthew Guzdial, AI researcher and assistant professor at the University of Alberta. Read the article.?
