Decision Pending
Few days back one of my friend contacted me and said that he wants to switch his current job. He has graduated in 2015 and having 8-9 months of experience. I asked why, what happened? He replied that he is not happy with his work but actually he didn't have any idea whats the reason or if he created the reason and nothing is there. It happens with many of us but before deciding for your problem first think if there is a real problem or we assumed it. If you are an employee in any organisation first learn to be calm and think before deciding anything. Now, continuing the same conversation here,
Not liking your work.... why??? He said many things- company is not good, boss is bad, work culture is not good. Again why??? What you want... think once. Didn't get an answer then think twice, think again and again till you get an answer. He thought and gave me answer- i am not doing what I wanted to.......
Me: what you wanted to................. He - want to work in my own style and time............. Me- how you will do it He- I should be with different company Me- how you come to know you will find those things there.....
I asked him to think properly and deeply... think again
He thought for 2-3 min and said - i selected wrong field of education... i should have choosen photography .....Me - why didn't you go. He- my family wants me to be in this and i also find it prestigious Me- prestigious. ... ohh big word.. why you listened to you family He- because I love them Me- why????? Ans- what is this ques.... that is my family.. my family. .... my own family
Me- Hmmm... yes but then why... He- don't know... its my family.. my mom -dad .. my brothers and sisters... who gave me all i wanted to, they supported me, they challenged me and made me what I am today.....
If you love them that much and did what you didn't wanted to(as you said) then continue it. Nothing is there in this world that you can not accept.
Love your work and your workplace will start loving you and if this happens a strong bond will be created that nothing can break and you will be on the peak.
I know everything is not as simple as i wrote but at least we can try... everywhere in every field you can get good work if you are mad for it...
Think.. give a try and live a happy life. Have a nice time ahead.
