Decision Making
Recently carrying out some research on the topic “Decision Making”. I came across Captain Sully’s Minute-by-Minute Description of The Miracle on The Hudson. His forced decision to land an A321 aircraft on a surface he had never landed on before, is a fascinating insight, into how a normal day can turn into the worst day of your life. Your world literally falling beneath you. Forcing you to take decisions that will ultimately decide your fate.
The comparison of this event and the current pandemic remind us all, whether in business or life we may be forced to land our own metaphorical aircraft on a surface that’s never been tested. In that moment our fate is sealed. This video is full of hope and its impact on decision making. To quote Captain Sully “…our diligence, our dedication to never give up, to try and save every life, to do everything we possibly can….”.
