A decision to make decisions

The other week, as part of an ongoing #productdiscovery process, I initiated several sessions with the teams related to #customers behavior, trying to better understand how they will consume our #products , what are their needs, pain points and will it answer those, etc.
When you search #decisionmaking in #google ,
“Decision making is?the process of making choices by identifying a decision, gathering information, and assessing alternative resolutions."
A good decision-maker in my opinion, chooses actions that give the best #outcome for themselves, others, and their products. They enter the decision-making process with an open mind and do not let their own biases sway them. They make decisions rationally, after researching alternatives and understanding the consequences.
Decision making is an essential part of a daily routine for #empowered #teams .
I’m a true believer in letting others find out the truth for themselves, #helpingothers on their #personalgrowth with #mentoring , #coaching , asking questions and validating our assumptions, Thus, I’ve placed the choice of making decisions in their hands…
The process reminded me a scene from The 1st Matrix movie, where Morpheus asks Neo to make a decision for himself…
I used this illustration in the first session with the teams.

“The terms "red pill" and "blue pill" refer to a choice between the willingness to learn a potentially unsettling or life-changing truth by taking the red pill or remaining in contented ignorance with the blue pill.” (The terms refer to?a scene?in the 1999 film? The Matrix)
To be honest, as I wasn’t sure which choice the teams will make, I even practiced my “You disappoint me…Mr. Anderson” line from the interrogation scene, just in case they decided to choose the “Blue Pill” …
But “surprisingly”, they selected the “Red pill” ??
The following steps were taken by the teams:
1st step: - Make a decision…(Done)
2nd step - #settinggoals , expected outcome
3rd step – Discover existing #methods
4th step – Suggested #approach & Tools Selection
5th step - Decision review, with the following questions:
Which “pill” you would have chosen?
