Decision Counsel's Sal Fuentes: It's Time for Brands to Figure Out Their Ethical AI Strategy

As 2025 gets underway, it’s quite an interesting time to be in the world. Innovators are attending the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, while throwback politics are returning to reign in Washington. Cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning will be center stage in Vegas, while much of America revealed at the ballot box that they aren’t comfortable with how fast everything is moving forward.

Sal Fuentes, founder and CEO of Berkeley, Calif-based Decision Counsel, joined?Spotlight?in the first week of 2025 to talk about both phenomena. He also discussed all the ways he thinks AI, machine learning and other technology will continue to revolutionize business and marketing in 2025, how forward-looking businesses are switching to subscription-based economies, and why not everyone is so eager to embrace change and evolution.?

Gianluigi Toccafondo Reunites with Ridley Scott for ‘Gladiator II’ Opening Credits

Ridley Scott returned to Italian artist and filmmaker Gianluigi Toccafondo to create the opening credits for?Gladiator II, starring Paul Mescal and Denzel Washington.

Painting in his unique style, Toccafondo recapped the story of 2000’s?Gladiator, starring Russell Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix, in a two-minute sequence, reminding audiences of what happened in ancient Rome the last time they checked in.?Toccafondo has worked with Scott before, creating the filmmaker’s animated logo for Scott Free Productions and the opening sequence for Scott's 2010 film,?Robin Hood.

YouGov: Emirates NBA Cup Partnership Proves Fruitful

Since the announcement of Emirates' global partnership with the NBA in February 2024, the collaboration has proven to be a significant success in boosting the airline's visibility and favorability, reports YouGov. One of the key elements of the partnership from a fan awareness point of view is the title sponsorship of the NBA in-season tournament, which was rebranded to?Emirates NBA Cup.?

This year's tournament began Tuesday, November 12 and ran through the championship on Tuesday, December 17 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
