GPT-3: The Trailblazer?

Let's start with GPT-3, shall we? GPT-3, or Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3, made a big splash in the AI ocean. Released by OpenAI in June 2020, it's a language-processing AI model that can write essays, summarize articles, answer questions, and much more. It has 175 billion parameters - these are the aspects of the model that have been learned from the training data. Imagine having 175 billion pieces of LEGO to build with - that's GPT-3 for you!?

GPT-3.5: The Half-Step

Now, what about GPT-3.5? It might sound like a whole new version, but not quite. It's more of a half-step up from GPT-3. The differences might not be huge and earth-shattering, but they're there, making GPT-3.5 a bit more refined and polished, like adding a bit more spice to our alphabet soup.

ChatGPT: The Conversation Whiz

Enter ChatGPT! This one is designed to, you guessed it, chat! It's like having a conversation with a computer that's actually coherent and makes sense. It's built on top of the GPT-3.5 model and designed to converse with users, answer questions, provide explanations, and generally be a chatty Cathy in text form. It's like having a buddy who knows many things and is always up for a text chat!

GPT-4: The New Kid on the Block

And then, there's GPT-4. The latest and greatest (as of the last update in January 2022), GPT-4 is like the new kid everyone is excited to meet. With even more parameters (a whopping undisclosed number), GPT-4 is even more powerful and capable of understanding and generating human-like text based on the prompts it receives. It's the hearty chunk of meat in our alphabet soup that everyone is looking forward to!

I bet you've never seen images like that before, but now you can! Use DALL·E 2 to generate a brand new high-resolution image based on a simple text prompt. You own the images you create with DALL·E 2, including the right to reprint, sell, and merchandise.
• Whisper - Text-to-speech has never been easier, thanks to Whisper. Whisper takes in an audio file and performs transcriptions, which enables translation in multiple languages and from those languages into English.
• Embeddings - Have you ever wondered how advanced searching works? What about detecting emotions in product reviews or extracting underlying topics or themes from a collection of text documents? The Embeddings API measures similarities of text strings by mapping text (and even code) to a vector (also known as a list) representation. Embeddings aid in advanced searching, sentiment analysis, clustering, and more!
• Moderation - Do you want to filter out hate speech or harassment? What about inappropriate, violent, or graphic content? The Moderations API allows you to check whether the content complies with OpenAI's usage policies and filter out accordingly.
