Decide who you are and who you want as clients - then then "Be All In" on that!

A common refrain in my Marketing Books is decide what you are and who you are targeting then “go all in.”
On Saturday I ended up having dinner before a concert in an absolutely incredible example – clearly from a completely different “niche” but, I believe it’s a great lesson.
Start with the name of this place:?? “The Brutal Poodle”. ???First reaction:? “What the hell is that?”
Now, I fully acknowledge that some may walk in the door and then run away in terror.
Don’t miss what I’m saying.
To be solid in your positioning you want to Polorize.
You want to REPEL those who aren’t your ideal students.?? You want to STRONGLY attract those who you are targeting – those who you want.
Anytime to try to be “all things to all people” then you are certainly to be unattractive to anyone.??? Seth Godin’s great book “Purple Cow” talked about this well.?? Tom Peter’s discussed it years about about great companies.? They they develop a STRONG team of people with common values and, repel quickly those who don’t fit in are either not accepted or are rejected as quickly as possible.

I’ll pick up on this later, but I’d recommend that you figure out who you really want to target and, GO ALL IN.
In our niche there's not a "Right Answer" to what you want to be..... you just need to decide and then "go all in."? ?These guys were all in.? The staff all looked like they had just come from a "Slayer" or, "Metalica" show.? Everything from what was playing on the TV's - the movie Halloween, not a football game.? The wall decor - event how the menu was organized and described was right in line.? ?
