Decency
Just now, recalling
as best I can,
people who have
faces for decency.
It’s not innocence,
for example, that
brings that quality
out of their skin
and settles in
their eyes, but
a let-live immunity
to evil worn like
a raincoat.
They see pain in others
and offer the touch.
They see joy in the little things
and tend to them.
At table, they don’t chew
as they pass the plate.
They show up, always.

I’m willing to wager that given some time to think about this, you have a friend or know somebody in league with the description in these lines. See how they uplift and may have something to teach beyond your admiration.
