1. Hobart Expansion

[Progress] at Daifuku Intralogistics America: Hobart ExpansionDaifuku Intralogistics America is thrilled to share that the Hobart, Indiana expansion is moving forward on schedule!

? Warehouse Expansion: 300,000 sq. ft. of new space

? HR Expansion: 8,500 sq. ft. for enhanced operations

? On Track: The project is progressing smoothly, with all of the walls now up!

This expansion is a key milestone as we continue to grow and strengthen our capabilities to serve our clients with world-class intralogistics solutions. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue building towards a brighter future. More here.


2. Daifuku Advanced Technical Institute


On October 16th-17th, 2024, Daifuku Intralogistics America hosted the Daifuku Advanced Technical Institute at the Daifuku Innovation Center in Bolingbrook, IL.

This two-day, in-depth Conveyor and Sortation Application Training provided valuable insights and hands-on experience for applications engineers, sales engineers, and professionals involved in the specification and design of material handling systems.

Attendees received detailed guidance on using our NiC 3D drawing and pricing program, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to confidently apply, design, and price Daifuku Conveyor & Sortation Systems.

It was an excellent opportunity for participants to deepen their understanding and expand their technical expertise.Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making this event a success.

3. Exclusive roundtable discussion with Talent Acquisition and HR leaders

Last year, Daifuku Intralogistics America had the honor of being invited to LinkedIn’s Corporate Office in Chicago for an exclusive roundtable discussion with Talent Acquisition and HR leaders from top corporations.

This opportunity allowed our team to share insights, exchange ideas, and explore innovative strategies to attract and retain top talent in an ever-evolving workforce landscape. ????Engaging in such conversations is key to staying ahead in our talent strategies and continuing to build a strong, dynamic team.

4. Visit Daifuku Japan


The Daifuku Intralogistics America team just returned from a week-long visit to Daifuku Japan, where we strengthened our partnership and deepened collaboration on key areas like product development, software engineering, and simulation.

By aligning our efforts across these critical areas, we’re driving innovation and enhancing our ability to deliver next-level automation solutions for our clients.

Exciting things are ahead as we continue to combine expertise across borders to push the boundaries of what’s possible in intralogistics.

5. Volunteering Time For our Michigan Team


Thank you to our Daifuku North America team members from the Novi office who recently volunteered their time to help at Forgotten Harvest in Oak Park, Michigan.

They helped to pack emergency food boxes and sort fresh nutritious food to be distributed through Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb County.

Everyone in the group enjoyed the opportunity to help those fighting hunger and food insecurity in the Detroit area!
