Happy New Year! As we kickstart a fresh year and a new chapter, here's a look back at all the events that stood out as shiny baubles on the Christmas tree that was 2024's final month.

December was a month of revelries - starting with the stellar achievement of the launch of India's first-ever Flying Tourbillon Movement, the 7TH1 Calibre; the company also commemorated three decades of making Mumbai sparkle brighter. We also rejoiced with tunes from Voice of Titan's incredible finale and celebrated Titanians who've reached milestone tenures within the company. Tourbillon Takes Off

In homage to the Company's 40th year anniversary, Titan introduces India’s first Tourbillon watch, as part of its limited-edition Commemorative Collection, consisting of four watches that pays tribute to its rich heritage and vision for the future. The watch features the innovative 7TH1 Calibre. Developed entirely in-house, it marked a watershed moment in Indian watchmaking history. The movement features a flying tourbillon bridge ingeniously designed in the shape of a "T" – an elegant tribute to the Titan brand – positioned at 6 o'clock, which also serves as the Petite Seconds hand.

The launch saw Titan leaders, veterans, and the country's avid horologophiles come together to celebrate the feat. Here's your peek into the day:

Thirty Years of Tanishq

Tanishq celebrated 800,000 families in a stunning event hosted marking 30 years of being Mumbai's most loved jeweller. Themed ‘Pride of Tanishq,’ it showcased the stunning Rivaah x Tarun Tahiliani wedding collection and a unique diamond immersive zone created in partnership with the De Beers Group .

A glimmering evening for patrons, celebrities, and influencers, it blended craftsmanship, innovation, and heartfelt gratitude.

Discovering the Titan in You

Titan's International Business Division (IBD) launched its campaign in the Philippines, celebrating inner strengths, embodying four unique personalities — The Hero, The Lover, The Ruler and The Magician — which reflect the powerful individuality of each wearer. Actress and model Max Collins and actor Ruru Madrid were named the ambassadors, inducting them into the Titan family as the first-ever Filipino ambassadors.

“We are not one personality. We have multiple Titans within each of us. In this campaign, we are hoping that you will discover your own titans within yourselves. You will discover what makes you what you are,” said Kuruvilla Markose , CEO (IBD) at Titan Company Limited.

The Hunt for the Voice of Titan

December marked the conclusion of the sensational Voice of Titan contest organised by Titan Encircle . The singing competition was open to customers and employees, and featured an incredible opportunity to be mentored by industry experts Nupur Pant, Rupasha Moitra, Sangeeta SR, and Rohit Kataria. The finale was adjudged by the Queen of Indian Pop, Usha Uthup, and was hosted at Titan's headquarters in Bangalore.

Kaivalya Kejkar won the Voice of Titan, inching out Arushi Shukla (First Runner-Up) and Alik Roy (Second Runner-Up & People's Choice). The winners earned up to 5 lakhs in cash prizes!

In the employees' category, Sreejita Sen clinched the first prize, Sinduja B came in as the first runner up and Janmejay Biswas earned the second runner up spot.

A Titanian's Legacy

The company hosted the much-awaited annual Long Service Awards for 2024 on December 17. MD C K Venkataraman and Chief People Officer Swadesh Behera felicitated all those who have completed milestones ranging from 5 to 35 years at Titan. Families and colleagues joined in on the commemorative festivities!

A Bouquet of Accolades

The end of 2024 marked a significant milestone for the company's CSR and Sustainability efforts, as they were marked with a bouquet of prestigious accolades.

Starting within the Tata Group, Titan Company Limited achieved a unique and impressive feat, winning multiple prestigious?Tata Engage Awards 2024 that were a part of Tata VolCon (Volunteering Conclave). In a historic year, the company secured 4 out of 9 possible awards—the?highest ever by any company in the Large Companies category. The company earned gongs for?Highest Volunteering Hours tallying to a whopping 33,200 hours,?Highest Unique Volunteers with 3,687 Titanians contributing to the Highest Per Capita Volunteering Hours at 3.83 hours, and the recognition for SPOC Hero earned by?Vairavel P for his exceptional contribution to volunteering.

Titan was also celebrated for our outstanding?CSR?and ESG initiatives led by organisations making a significant impact in driving sustainability, social responsibility, and positive change. Titan was recognised as one among 2024's Champions of CSR at the?Times Now Global Sustainability Alliance - ESG Impact Summit 2024.

The Art of Childcare

The corporate office instituted a new crèche designed to be more than the usual daycare. As a space for our junior Titanians, it's designed to holistically nurture their minds early on. One of the remarkable aspects of this space is how it helps children of all ages discover India's rich artistic heritage through immersive Gond, Bhil and Madhubani art. By surrounding young minds with these timeless narratives painted by artists from our CSR initiative, Project Tarasha, the crèche is a haven for creativity, cultural pride, and a deeper appreciation for India's artistic traditions.
