Education is one of the best gifts we can give a child – it empowers them to secure a future and follow their aspirations. And for Mirabel young people, education is also fundamental for creating a sense of normalcy and belonging.??

Take Off with Zac

Mirabel Alumni Zac has just returned home after more than two years in the UK training to be a pilot. Next on Zac’s itinerary is Hong Kong where he’ll be working for Cathay Pacific.??

Super speller Jason?

Thanks to specialised tutoring, Jason, 12, is getting A's in spelling for the first time. He’s now more confident in class, both academically and emotionally, and his tutor told us he is a pleasure to teach each week.??

Trainee Kasey?

Kasey's determination and goal setting has paid off. She recently secured a place as a trainee in childcare which could flourish into a wonderful and rewarding career.?

Brave Beau?

In 2023, Beau would only whisper when speaking, sounding out words and reading. But this year, he’s confidently reading, speaking and sounding out words aloud. Plus, his fluency in reading and spelling has vastly improved.?

Math enthusiast Matilda?

Matilda, 17, didn’t let a disappointing grade for her maths SAC (School-Assessed Coursework) get her down. Instead, she studied with her private tutor over the school holidays, re-sat the exam and achieved an incredible 93%.?
