The latest AWS news we thought you should know about. ????

• 2???new regions opened in Europe! ???Switzerland Region?will be known by its official name Europe (Zurich), and API calls to?eu-central-2. The second new region opened in?Aragón, Spain?and it will be known as?eu-south-2?in the API calls.
• Performance improvement:?AWS RDS supports up to 15 read replicas?for a 3x increase to read capacity. ?? For more information, look at the Amazon?RDS documentation?on how to work with read replicas.
• Amazon EC2 now lets you?replace the root Amazon EBS volume for a running instance?– this makes patching of the guest operating system and applications easier while retraining the instance store data, networking, and IAM configuration.
• New AWS Resource Explorer?– if you’ve ever searched for a needle in a haystack… I mean, for a specific resource in your AWS account, especially across Regions, be sure to take a look at the new?AWS Resource Explorer described?in this blog post. ??
• AWS announced changes to?AWS Batch for?Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS). Read through this?blog post?for more details. By the way, there is no charge for this service. You only pay for the resources that your batch jobs launch. ??
