Imagine H2O
Imagine H2O envisions and builds transformative solutions with the world’s best water entrepreneurs.
15 Years of Impact, and Counting…
Thank you for engaging with Imagine H2O and our innovators through these monthly newsletters and our community events in San Francisco, New York, Singapore, Manilla, and points beyond.
Since launching our first program in 2009, we’ve supported over 220 entrepreneurs who have gone on to raise $1.1B in funding and deploy solutions in 23 countries. Today, this momentum continues as we expand our recognized accelerator programs and launch our Water Innovation Pilot Fund – making water innovation more accessible globally than ever before.
As we enter 2025, we’re energized to amplify our impact by connecting entrepreneurial water solutions to urgent challenges in climate resilience, health, resource circularity, and equity. Our mission has never been more critical, and our community has never been stronger.
Expanding Our Reach, Deepening Our Impact
2024 was a standout year for Imagine H2O’s work in Asia!
We are excited to grow our impact in the coming year, stay tuned!
Unlocking Water Innovation with Local Support
Imagine H2O Asia announced a new partnership with the WASH Innovation Hub (WIH) and Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) to jointly unlock more technical assistance for our startups working with Indian municipalities.
Year on year, the number of India-based startups applying to our Imagine H2O Asia program has been growing – with Indian companies now making up a quarter of our Asia portfolio.
With Imagine H2O deploying more capital and resources to jumpstart water innovation pilots in India, we look forward to working with ASCI to mobilize more local resources to support our startups on the ground.
Water Innovation Pilot Fund: Water Projects to Watch
As we wrap up the year, we’re excited to share updates on projects supported by the Water Innovation Pilot Fund. We're actively involved in 10 pilot projects worldwide, providing Imagine H2O startups with both funding and technical guidance.

Utility Operations and Maintenance in the Philippines
TeamSolve trialed their O&M digital assistant with 20 utility operators, where over 5,000 messages were exchanged on their AI tool to address staff knowledge gaps and improve operational efficiency.
They are currently in commercial conversations with the utility to scale the project.
Water Quality Monitoring for Utilities in the Philippines
TracWater ’s robots recorded 400,000 water quality measurements in real-time for each utility between April and August of this year.
The data allowed the utilities to gain visibility into their piped network for the first time, leading to chlorine dosing changes and other process adjustments for improved water quality.
Non-revenue Water Reduction for Utilities in Indonesia
SmartTerra demonstrated the potential to reduce up to 2% non-revenue water in one network zone within three months of their AI-driven data analysis.
Imagine H2O is exploring scale-up opportunities with an additional two utilities in Indonesia prioritizing NRW reduction.
