December Newsletter (Better late than never)
Mogens Rye
Founder @Rye Outsourcing & AIM. Through outsourcing, you can remain focused on the core. Through elevating your digital marketing, we support your share of voice brand-building, driving your leads for more clients.
The year is fast coming to an end, and the upcoming festivities and a good portion of fatigue usually mark the last weeks. While Portfolio managers begin to close their books, the world keeps spinning.
What a year it has turned out to be. Continued war in Europe, a new incoming US administration signaling dramatic changes to trade relations with everyone. Israel has been engaged in multiple wars on several fronts, and appears to come out on top against Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran.
In my mind, the last is the most important, as it may finally make the Middle east get itself out of the Iranian Priesthoods claws, and if Syria plays their cards wisely, allow not only Syria much better relations with the Western world, but essentially kick Russia out of the Mediterranean, and leave Iran to stew in their own juices.
The most significant impact on the world economies in 2025 from all this is likely in the price of oil. That is also the only chance D.T has to not massively hike inflation by his use of Tariffs.
As should be known, Rye Outsourcing works with the US company TenViz . From their latest read of the market flows, they have focus on the "flight to safety".
We also have the pleasure to work with seat11a.com to increase the distribution reach of investor relations teams and the C+ people at listed companies.
From 1987 to 2018, I spent endless time on Roadshows with Companies. Whether it was concerning an IPO, a secondary capital raise, a quarterly, semi- or annual report, it involved to much time in cars, stuck in traffic, handing out PDFs, and listening to the same story to a degree, where you even now what "joke" will be coming in when. Most of this travel only benefitted Institutional investors, and mostly the so-called Tier 1 and on occasion Tier 2 clients.
It always felt wrong to me that an Institutional $ was worth more, the more $ the investor had overall. In my book an invested $ should be considered to have a value of 1 $.
This lack of access by anyone but the largest investors to engage with the companies could be explained by a) Capacity b) Lack of interest from retail investors c) Lack of regulation and d) the analogue world we lived in at the time.
Now, the digital age, and Seat11a.com have changed all that.
Morten Kongshaug once again invites the Danish Investor audience to a #webinar, hosted by yours truly. The webinar will be held in Danish, and there will be a replay for those who could not make it on the day. (So, sign up in any case). ??

Finally, 2024 was the year that Asset Insight Media was launched. It is time for asset managers to become the brands of their business and we can help that process.
We look forward to helping you get noticed and recoqnised as a thought leader in your field.
In this regard, as I had my son as an intern in the last weeks, he did (in Danish) a few slides on the use of Video in your marketing.
