Holiday Closure Dates?

As we come to the end of yet another incredible year, we will be taking some time out over the festive season.?

The office will be closed from?12:00pm (GMT) Friday 20th December 2024 and we will reopen at?8:30am (GMT) Tuesday 2nd?January 2025.

CO2 Refrigeration? ?

We are very pleased to be launching our?newest?innovation in refrigeration - our CO2??solutions?have?a GWP of just 1? - well below the maximum value of 150?permitted by the European F-Gas regulations, that come into force on the 1st January 2025.

We are the first corrosion?test equipment manufacturer to bring this method of?refrigeration to market. Further details will be released early in 2025

New Accessories

We have some very exciting new developments in the pipeline for 2025 and beyond, as part of our ongoing commitment to development and customer feedback.?

We have recently launched several new chamber accessories which are all available immediately:

ACC134 – Increased salt spray volume

This accessory is designed in accordance with JSS 55555, which requires the quantity of salt solution sprayed per hour to be approx. 1% of the volume of the chamber.?Ascott are the first Salt spray chamber manufacturer to be able to perform this test using atomised spray, and it has been approved by Qualitek Laboratories in India, who are now accredited for this test.

?ACC136 – Air Inlet Isolation Valve

Isolation valve added to the inlet of the compressed air line. This allows for the Ascott chamber to be isolated from the incoming air when the same airline is used for multiple pieces of other equipment.

ACC137 – Air Saturator Pressure Vent Solenoid valve

Solenoid valve fitted to the air saturator to vent the air pressure; this allows the air saturator to automatically refill when the incoming water pressure is below the recommended 2.5 bar limit.

ACC138 – Analogue Air Pressure Gauge

An option to have an Analogue Air Pressure gauge, surface mounted on the front of the chamber, to see immediately the incoming air pressure. This is in addition to the digital air pressure gauge on the chambers control panel. If a chamber has more than 1 atomiser, the analogue gauge is supplied as standard.

ACC139 – USB Logging port for IS/Alpha+ chambers

A USB logging port surface mounted on the chamber, to download set and process values for the chamber temperature and chamber air saturator, into a csv. file into Excel.??

Role: Plastic Fabricator?

Joined the Team: 2010

Typical Day :Creating bespoke products and accessories for Ascott chambers. All Ascott chambers are made to order and I work with detailed technical drawings to create the options and accessories required for each customers chamber.

What I enjoy the most: The work is very varied, and as the products are continually evolving, there are often new products and design changes so it never gets dull.? It is also very satisfying to be such an important part of the chamber build and see the finished products heading off to their final destination.

New Products Added to Online Shop

We have recently added a new range of Cross Hatch Cutters to our online shop, with even more models to choose from and even better value for money than our previous range.

The Cross Hatch Cutter is a multi-blade cutting tool which enables an assessment to be made of the adhesion resistance of coatings to separation from substrates.
