What a year it has been on reflection.? So much change in so many way for everybody around me and around the world.?

Things also seem extra specially busy and sometimes overwhelming, but there have been some great constants and some even better positive additions this year that have greatly benefitted my life and the lives of my wonderful clients, colleagues, friends and family too!

Exercise:? So grateful to my kind and lovely accountability exercise buddy Daksha Foat, Balance to Thrive, Nutritionist, DNA Prac. for the weekly dopamine and endorphin boost this year. We have been doing brilliant weight bearing exercise in James Lewis's garage ( James Lewis ) and in Daksha's kitchen and on the other days some great 10 minute quick menopause workouts thanks to YouTube! Workout 1 & Workout 2

Time out:? There were two massive learnings this year.? The first one was the importance of stepping away, taking time out and making this a priority.

The old me with the perfectionist, superachieving tendencies would have probably burnt out yet again. Thanks to both learning the incredible powers of HeartHealing? this year and the subsequent sessions as a client and now qualified practitioner, I allowed myself time to step away from my desk, have more time in nature, meditated daily, worked in different venues, spent time away for weekends and gave permission to myself to put my mental health and self care first.?

Asking/reaching out for help:? When I became an orphan this year there was a lot to process - the loss of another parent nearly 2 years from the last, plus losing a parent before they died to Alzheimers, a cruel cruel disease, wasn't easy.?

I explained in a recent blog the significance of?HeartHealing? on my life this year.?

Not only has it helped me overcome my inability to ever ask for help and lessened my ADHD/childhood trauma symptoms, but it has enabled me to give up alcohol which is HUGE!!!!?

Thank you HeartHealing? and Natasha Bray for creating this incredible modality that has been life changing for me and my clients and colleagues this year.

Dealing with grief: I know that this time of year is hard for many of us who are missing loved ones, so if you are grieving or know anybody who is, or is experiencing any kind of loss past or present, I highly recommend the 6/7 week Bereavement Journey course.?

Completely brilliant unjudgemental group discussions around loss and grief really helped me process the loss and death of my parents, which is still ongoing.?

Us Brits have this ridiculous stiff upper lip attitude that we just need to get on with things (my old view), but I will now go as far as to say they should make this course compulsory for adults and adapt it for children!

Retreat at Langdon Court Manor

My wonderful friend, Yoga Teacher and Reiki Practitioner? Georgie Pincus spectacularly organised two back to back restorative, relaxing and very special retreats at Langdon Court Manor in November.?

Georgie's sister Phil cooked beautiful, delicious and nourishing food and 13 women got to relax, be pampered, enjoy brilliant yoga and sound baths, as well as foraging and walks to the beach.

The feedback has been outstanding and this was the first time I had ever run anything to do with visioning when the group didn't know anything about the importance of creating a vision and Vision Boards or know what to expect!? ?

I am delighted to say they loved the experience and I keep getting messages to say there is lots of change happening already!
