?? Together, we raised over $1 million for 220+ local nonprofits this GivingTuesday!
Every year, GivingTuesday continues to show just how much our region's full of heart. Thank you for your generosity, attention, and unwavering support for local nonprofits and communities. Each and every donation makes a real difference. Throughout our Give Local Together campaign, donors shared about how their lives have changed because of a nonprofit, how they're paying it forward, and why a nonprofit's mission means so much to them. These are the stories we carry with us, and they connect us all. Together, we are a catalyst for good.
Local Nonprofits to Support

Ways to Get Involved
?? "I have seen how real change begins at the local level, with neighbors coming together to create a more vibrant, interconnected, and thriving region. As we approach this holiday season with reflection and gratitude, how do you plan to invest in the well-being of our region?" Spur Local board member Brandelyn Anderson writes in The Washington Informer about why and how you can give where you live this season!
?? The Next Gen Giving Circle, a Spur Local initiative, has given $30,000 in grant funding to ten organizations working to advance economic justice for individuals and families of color in the Greater Washington region, including $5,000 in multi-year support to 2023 grantees!?Interested in joining the collective giving movement? Learn more about the giving circle, a DMV-based group of neighbors pooling their dollars to invest in local causes, and members' commitment to trust-based philanthropy.
