Last week, Rent Responsibly celebrated our 5th Anniversary (can you believe it!), and over a special-edition team retreat, we took time to reflect on our evolution.

RR’s 2024 Wrapped

In our early years, we focused on pulling our chairs up to the table, a favorite advocacy expression. We raised our hands to support advocacy efforts wherever we were needed, and we empowered advocates to do the same in their communities.?

The STR community is full of incredibly smart, talented, and passionate people. As time went on, we realized the world needs more tables for you, so?if Spotify wrapped our 2024, the theme would be building our own.

• New Alliances:?Our?Alliance Directory?crossed the 100-group milestone, and with our vast-and-still-expanding?suite of free resources and professional support for associations,?we?helped?many new groups launch?for success for years to come.
• Inaugural RR Industry Council:?This year we launched our?inaugural RR Industry Council, a cohort of exemplary stakeholders from a wide cross-section of our industry, to advise our top priority initiatives. Meet the council, see their work, and learn about future?Council opportunities here >
• Second annual SPARK:?In May, we brought together 13 STR alliance leaders from across the country for?three days of workshops and fun downtime?to thank and celebrate them for their incredible advocacy leadership.?

Building Bigger Tables in 2025

Like pulling four-tops together at a restaurant, we’re bringing more people together in everything we do. In 2025, we’ll be expanding our industry councils, hosting our third annual SPARK, hosting and supporting more events, helping more alliances launch, and providing more resources for STR operators to advocate and rent responsibly.?
