December 2024
The School Partner Connect community hosts Association leaders each month so that, as external school partners, we remain abreast of trends, opportunities, and challenges facing the independent school community.
Last week, we hosted Crickett Kasper , Director of Schools, from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) in advance of the CASE-NAIS annual conference next month.?
Crickett shared a few major trends in advancement impacting our schools:?
She also noted that fundraising is shifting to the 98-2 rule (98% of funds from 2% of donors) and that 50% of schools will be embarking on a capital campaign in the next two years.?
Conversations with Association leaders help keep our members focused on your needs as school leaders. To kick off 2025, we’ll be visiting with the Executive Directors from the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS), the Association of LD Schools (ALDS), and the Association of Independent Schools of Greater Washington (AISGW).?
If you are connected with an Association that might want to engage with our 50+ member community, please let me know.?
Happy holidays!

Recent School Leaders Wins with School Partner Connect
Testimonial: Neal M. Brown, Ed.D. (he, him, his) Interim Head of School
“Chris Pryor of Lead Team Partners was instrumental in helping me to connect me with search firms that were well suited for my school and for the role we were looking to fill. I appreciated that Chris took the time to get to know me, to understand more about my school and our needs, and to talk with me about the different ways that searches can be supported by outside consultants. As someone who has only hired one Director of Advancement during my years as a head, this was enormously helpful. I'm pleased that I had a number of well-qualified search consultants to choose from, and that we are now moving ahead with our search. Chris continues to check in with me about how it is going too. This service feels unique and fills a great need.”
