It’s December! ?Where did the year go? It seems like 2023 went by twice as fast as 2022, and I’m still trying to get caught up. December is a month to pause and find gratitude in the things that we sometimes take for granted or are possibly just too busy to notice. It’s often the simple moments that are the most precious. I hope that you are able to find time as the year ends to pause, sit back and relax. ?Think of those moments that truly brought joy into your life in 2023. For me, there are so many happy memories I have with my kids Abbie and Jason. Watching them grow up is both exciting and terrifying, which I am sure all parents can understand.
Abbie recently did something very special for her dad. She took time out of her day to create a Dash and Nikki and the Jellybean Game read aloud. She wanted to create something that teachers and librarians could use to share the Dash and Nikki story with kids in the classroom and at home. The video is now available for free on the Owning the Dash site. Watching her make the video made me so proud, but it also reminded me of how much she has grown up, even since the book was released just a few years ago. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did. Abbie is a very talented young actress and presenter! ?
