Decarbonizing our planet - between lies, greenwashing and urgent action

Introduction

After a 30-year managerial career in corporations and medium-sized companies, I took a soft exit 5 years ago and founded a startup with engineers from the aerospace industry. We have the vision to further develop proven space technology in a way that these innovations in industry and mobility reduce emissions and waste of resources, but at the same time increase the efficiency of existing applications or enable new applications.?Over the last years we have developed or are in the process of developing solutions that support 7 of the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

But that is not what the articles I will publish in the coming months will be about. I mention this to show that my background is not only theoretical but mainly practical when I talk about decarbonization, GHG and resource wastage.

In these articles, I will open your eyes to the topic of decarbonization. I will tell you who is lying to us, who is greenwashing, what we ourselves can do sensibly and what measures are necessary to avoid that this planet becomes in large parts uninhabitable for living beings.

What drives me to write these articles?

First and foremost, enlightenment! Only through enlightenment can we expose lies and greenwashing and exert pressure that the relevant measures are implemented.

Please be aware, that experts all over the world are convinced, that in a world that is 2 ° Celsius warmer, we will have to manage more floods, more heatwaves, more extreme weather events and that for a minimum of 40 % of the world population.

For the climate disaster deniers, I have a message: even if you are right, what's wrong with making this planet cleaner, even friendlier and more livable?

In my first article, among other things, I will take the opportunity to address the Woke Generation.
