Decanter Asia Award 2016: NZ Winners
Oct 10th 2016
Here's the crop of just released NZ winners at the DWAA. The judges are top sommeliers and Masters of Wine. I'm all for listening to the experts and trying what they recommend.
I have listed just the NZ wines as I can buy them here, many of the wines though are available internationally. You may not be able to get the exact wine, the exact vintage but these Wine-Searcher links will steer you to these award winning wines, whereever you are.

China won 142 medals in total at DAWA 2016, compared to 12 medals two years ago.
China performed well with an Icewine receiving a Gold medal and 16 other Chinese wines getting Silver medals – a great result for China's emerging wine industry.
Interestingly, Japan’s Grace winery won the Platinum Best in Show medal for Best White Single Varietal with Gris de Koshu 2015
