Join us in celebrating Amy's 10th work anniversary at ExoClick! Amy has seen ExoClick evolve and grow from the very beginning, and she herself has grown along with the company, from Customer Support Agent all the way to Compliance Team Leader!
What have you enjoyed the most about working at ExoClick during the last 10 years?
Looking back at the beginning, I realize how much everything has changed: The company, the industry, and everything, really - It has been fascinating to have been a part of ExoClick over the years to witness this growth! Our platform and its features have evolved and expanded, becoming more sophisticated and catering to more needs, and so has the level of customer support offered to our clients. The number of total employees at the Barcelona office just occupied a quarter of the area we have today! This is just to mention a few examples. I feel very fortunate and proud to be an active part of this ever-growing family and I welcome with open arms the constant opportunities given to me to also grow as a person and employee. I adore working in this dynamic and constantly changing industry and company. There is no time to get bored and there is always something new to learn! It has also been a motivation for me to see how my colleagues have grown into their current roles where they can apply their skills and knowledge to shine even brighter.
What has been your biggest “lesson learned” in these 10 years?
With no previous working experience in online advertising, I have constantly been given opportunities to learn and develop. I personally feel that I have accomplished a lot and I am today Team Leader at the Compliance Department! The secret? Keep your mind open to learn and stay motivated. Of course, a fair share of hard work, dedication and effort is also needed. To keep striving and growing, a contributor is your attitude and eagerness to learn. Be curious. Do not be afraid to take on new challenges. Nothing is impossible if the right attitude is there.?
What are a few ways in which you think working at ExoClick helped you grow as a professional and individual over the years?
Working for ExoClick has been both fun and exciting since the beginning. This company has without a doubt helped me grow professionally. There are several factors that come to mind that I think have helped me to become the person I am today:
Trust! Since day one I have been given the confidence and trust that I can learn and perform my job well. Trust and support was given for the decisions I made, which boosted my confidence in my decision-making ability and improved my problem-solving skills.

Company culture! Instead of considering myself merely an employee, I do feel like a member of a bigger family, the Exo family. We have shared ups and downs, faced challenges together, celebrated milestones and anniversaries, etc. This has naturally made me feel more committed, passionate and proud of the work I do here in ExoClick.
Opportunities! ExoClick has given me time and opportunities to learn. In this dynamic industry, we always have to be ready to adapt and take different approaches when needed. This has naturally helped me to become more knowledgeable, which in turn makes me feel more valuable.
Caring! Benefits offered and implemented over the years show that ExoClick cares about its employees. For me personally, ExoClick has shown great care and understanding when I went through some difficult times and changes in my private life. The fact that I got promoted while I was pregnant with my second daughter really shows that ExoClick treats everyone equally and made me understand that no goal is impossible to achieve.
How has your job role and your team evolved over the last 10 years?
Where should I begin? When I first started at ExoClick, I worked for the Customer Services department, a team of 6 that was only available during office hours. After we had introduced 24/7 client support and a significantly increased number of team members, a decision was made to split the department into two teams: Compliance and Customer Success. This enabled us to become more efficient in our respective areas. We were assigned or hired by the team where our skills and experiences made a better fit. This gave us more potential to grow. With this split, more roles were created: Heads of teams, team leaders, specialists, etc, which of course created more opportunities for all of us to advance in our careers and take on new challenges. Summarizing, over a decade, our department has changed a lot: Everything from the number of employees, how we are operating and our structure, to our strategies. We have come a long way. I am very proud to be a part of this team and have experienced all these changes. It is interesting to see how a department can change so much in a time span of 10 years!?
What about ExoClick? Has the company changed a lot over the years?
Yes! Of course, what has not changed? We are bigger; more employees, more products, more companies, larger offices, etc. However, even though ExoClick has grown bigger in every aspect, I believe that the focus and belief in the importance of employee well-being remains the same, if not grown. I feel as valued and appreciated today as I did when I first started. I look forward to seeing how ExoClick will change in the next 10 years. Will we see more products and brands being introduced in the market? Will we see many internal changes within the company and departments? Will new records be set? My guess would be a massive Yes! I am both excited and curious to see what new adventures await us all.
